@kavanjh82 The camera was set to "auto-focus", which focuses much better & faster than manually (with this camcorder), I tried it manually before when I recorded this video, but it was blurred at the start for even longer, either way that initial blurring can't be helped unfortunately.

where did you get the image version of the carlton screen advertising ident at the beginning of the clip? if you still have it, can you upload it please

@TheCinemaAdvertising I got it from the internet, & photoshopped it to be similar to the official slides that they used to play at cineworld. I still have it & can upload it for you.

I'm a cinema fanatic in Bournemouth and I buy lots of film reels to show to youth groups and schools in my area. I sell advertising to help me cover the costs and every month, I am going to publish an updated video in Carlton screen and DCM format for people to download and use for whatever they want. Whether thats showing to your mates on a DIY projector or doing what I do for clubs. I hope you find it useful. Really looking forward to the odeon pinkle sparkle remake, RetroRepair! Good luck!

I think we need to get hold of more of this stuff, it'd be totally rad to make up some custom DVDs with ads and trailers for movie nights with friends!

I have all the best ads, I even re-created the apocalypto, ratatouille, & wall-e anti-piracy ads (using trailers & "visit4info" videos, I also re-created the bbfc title screens. I really want the cineworld policy ident (full 30-second version with white ribbon animation), but it's not on the net, but at least the carlton ident & the national amusements showcase policy ident are on youtube.

Carlton Screen Advertising no longer around, the company was effectivly bought out by Odeon / UCI and is now rebranded as DCM

Not true, some Cinemas here still play this logo.

It is true but it's great that some cinemas still play the ident 'cos it's way better than the new DCM one in my opinion.

There are 2 csa idents in that video, one at the start, one at the end.

I photoshopped the orange slideshow image using images from the website, & I got the video from the volvo interactive cinema ad.
