okay i have a question O.O i recently picked this game and am quite in a good level/a very decent amount of weapons and skills and i have aquired a few altered arts here and there however as i have read a few times that burst arts cannot be learned yet u still used both of the wind burst art and the flame may i ask how when u cant equip both of the skills at the same time is it possible to actually learn them ? please answer as fast as possible ^_^

@Pikohan Revenge My favorite thing about this gam is the improvment of artes after using moves a certain amount of times. I also like how the burst arter can be lnked to other moves if you can create your own combos. Now that's power. Aside from usig my OVL I usually like to use my own origional combos withut using burst artes sometimes. He have you completed all of the secret missions. I though this was a pretty hard sidequest myself.

@Pikohan Revenge Did you complete lll of your sidequests as well. I almost did mine I jut need fo finish cooking and getting all of the titles as well as the EX Dungeon as mentioned. I haven't finished Duke just yet on my second playthrough. Hmm I have carried over most of my stuff from my first playthrough but I was thinking to make things a little harder on my third playthrough Iwas only going to carry over three things that are important. I usually don't mind earning all of the skills& artes.

@Pikohan Revenge Thanks for these uploads I have though about it and there is still quite a bit to do in our version even though Namco has remadis game on PS3 with more. But our version is okay I guess. Thanks to you I now have even more work to do on this game I might as well start working on some advanced techquines of my own.

@PikohanRevenge How many combinations of Burst Artes ca you pull off ith eac character? Is it possible to keep pulling off different combination burst arte. I heard there is only 5 different types ofburst artes within the elements that each character can use. What about cooking did or can yo make a cooking guide on Tales of Vesperia because I have ooked and it had great affect on my status which usually happen in battle.

Its a skill called Dragon Buster. Lets you use down + B to do a downward slash.

WOW... My opinion of this game just raised dramatically. This is probably one of the best up-to-4 player games out there, but I'm not sure if they fixed the problem with camera angle only on Player 1 that was in ToS... Great combo vid bro, wish I had skills like that

How do you do different Burst Artes like that? I know you can change them by altering their skills, but how do you make them use different Burst artes mid-battle? Like using Divine Wolf -Gale then afterword using Divine Wolf - Blaze?

Is the battle system similar to Eternal Sonata? i.e., turn based, characters taking turn to fight?

What I find annoying about Eternal Sonata is that when you destroy those monsters and move forward and later retun back, the monsters are alive again, and you have to destroy them again which is annoying . . . does this happen in Tales of Vesperia?

No, the battle system is real time and in my opinion, much, much better than Eternal Sonata's.

Yes, enemies also respawn in this game. It's easy enough to dodge them on the field, however.

I just learned today that you have to have a skill highlighted in green for it to be active....

I've been playing up to Belius with out a single skill equipped for my characters.

(Though I was only able to get over 20 GRADE on the Outbreaker battle... Probably cause I focused on healing since I only had 1 life bottle -_- )

I need to play Vesperia a little more, but you know, after the announcement of the PS3 version I thought I'd stop playing for now until they announce a US version. I'm playing that instead if they do.

The method that Nore139 used was Raven in first slot (Auto), and the character you want to FS Cancel in second slot (Semi-Auto/Manual).

When you want to cancel an FS just open the menu with first and use his "Take it Easy." strategy.

That method is just to make the second character focused on, rather than the screen focused on both characters.

I don't see that happening. There's really nothing to fix and no reason to remove the Bark skill.

You are awesome! Never knew bark could be used that way. Maybe that's why each combo video with canceling always has Repede and more than one controller.
