dear, nice, naive children... it's a matter of pure human anatomy. there isn't a human on this planet who could throw a ball 82 FEET swinging his arm like that!

i'm playing basketball for years, i'm a fitness trainer and former ultimate figher. i can throw a ball 82 ft far, but even my arm swing has to be bigger then this to do that.

Throw doesn't have to be strong. It has to be fast. A bulldozer can lift a ton but that doesn't mean it can throw.

Learn some physics.

true,i'm no physicist, but even i know this: a bigger object creates a greater force thus a bigger arm can throw things further. i agree that you have to have speed, but by your logic a casino dealer (who has real speed in his arms and hands) can throw a basketball much further then the world champion is disk thworing, for example.

by the way, i'm saying that to get speed you need A SWING. and with that swing, you can't have enough speed to do it.

casino dealers are agile, yes, but their hands go no faster than 10kph. their fingers just switch directions really fast. and they have fast hands, not fast arms.

bigger objects create bigger force but you have to take into account how much force they use for themselves.

i play football and when i want to make a long pass, i kick fast, not strong. that's a friggin basketball we're talking about here, not a rock.

he didn't swing the arm alone, if you look at the clip again you can see he put the energy of his all body into it. Hips,legs,back and both arms, yeah both as he swinged the other one to get more out if it.

It's a perfectly normal shot the guy just had a lot of luck because while throwing the ball that far(or even further) is trivial, hitting the basket requires a lot of luck.

I can't imagine how somebody with your alleged qualifications can claim this to be physically impossible lol

it's possible to throw the ball strong enough that it begins its decent midway through the court and end it on the basket.
