@92ASC Fair enough. But most people do it just for the looks though. I only lifted my Silverado an inch and a hallf in the front to get rid of the rake.

I had a buddy that had a Silverado with a 6" pro comp lift and he would go over speed bumbs at 2 miles per hour for some reason.

Actually if you lift a truck too much it won't go off road very well because the center of gravity is so high.
