  • hi

i am a good friend of david peel....

  • Everyone who has ever known David Peel becomes a good friend of his. He's a really cool guy who sees something good in this world. I used to hang out with him in 1972, and he gave free shows in the streets ALL THE TIME, and invited EVERYBODY to join The Lower East Side, handing out slide whistles, tambourines, bongos, and using garbage cans as percussion instruments. I can proudly say that, thanks to David Peel, I was once in the same band that John and Yoko were in!

  • fantastic

  • I remember driving up to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland a few years ago basting this song from my car stereo, and seeing everyone turn their heads towards the car. It was my way of saying "We've Arrived!" Great song and slide show Dave. - Dean Wien "The Dean of Rock & Roll"

  • Use to see the band all the time around NYC. Funny thing one time was when they were over by the fountain in Central Park playing acoustic and all these tourists were standing around with the kids enjoying a real live rock and roll band until Peel stops the music and the band yells, "up against the wall mother f***er!, the next thing you see is people grabbing the kids and running. Everybody in NYC knew David. Thanks for the video.

  • Man, I first heard this when I was 8yrs old on my dads 8-track cassette player. My 4yr old sister loved the "Oink Oink" song, but she really didn't know what it meant then, good times.

  • 0:28-0:33 is the amazing Joff Wilson, who rocks!!! Great old track!! Blessings of Love & Light to All!!
