what makes me sad is that george is such a great singer and unique person and ever since his downfall with drugs he hasnt been given a fair comeback!!! I want a culture club reunion and a tour in the u.s.

I always really liked Boy George, ever since I was a teen in the 80s. He appeared genuine even when he looked rather eccentric. I wish I could find one particular interview from 1987 or so, I remember watching it back then on one of the satellite channels, Sky Channel or maybe Super Channel... It was at least an hour long IIRC and dealt very honestly with his life and even the drug usage. BG had real charisma and his voice was out of this world, a great talent!

in one of his interviews, he said that he has become what the people wanted him to be, like a doll. and he said cutting his hair and changing his look made him more like "himself".
