In order to update the number of innocent life that has being taken by the greed of a few, it`s neccesary to multiply by 6.5 those 100.000 mentioned in the begining.
Any loss of innocent life is painful and unbearable. Having said that, I will say that if I had to choose between losing innocent American lives and losing Iraqi innocent lives, I'll choose losing Iraqi lives every single time. They need to start appreciating what the U.S. Military went through for their sake, and the best way for them to show that appreciation is to start working overtime to get their country and its affairs in order. I agree with you regarding 9/11 and the non-existent WMD's, and I do think that any loss of innocent life is painful and unbearable. However, the point I was trying to make is that if I were forced to make a choice, I'd rather lose lives that are not American. I'm an American and my duty as such is to protect and defend my fellow Americans. Having said that, I'll say that I think the Iraq War was a tremendous, vile mistake that never should have happened. I'm glad Saddam is gone, though.

I have heard several in denial on here say 'oh, these are from terrorist bombs', as if American bombs are any different! As I sit here, safe and sound in my mothers home I watch this video and feel sadness at the inhumanity and suffering going on in the world. I can easily understand the desire to not see the innocent victims. But when you do see these things going on, I can not understand how anyone isn't outraged and disgusted by it. Please stop fighting guys. Please stop playing the blame game. Those of us who have the luxury to speak freely in this forum should use rather than abuse the privilege. We owe it to those on *all* sides who have paid, and are continuing to pay, so high a price. So bear with please, because I want to ask you guys something.
We are dealing in realities now: the issue as to who was for or against the military option is for historians to debate about later. What I want to ask is (sorry, contd.):

(Bear with me, ed.) Where to now and how to get there? If you guys were my policy advisers, what would you tell me as regards moving forward on the issue for the sake of *all* involved? The question sounds arrogant, I know, but it is by no means intended as such (I'm not a policymaker by any means). I'd just like to hear your opinions on possible steps forward. Thanks.

I wonder how many of these unfortunate were killed by suicide and car bombings planted by their own people. I have been to the middleast and I can tell you from experience that it Iraqis kill each other a lot more than Americans kill them. This is propaganda for the enemy.

Just so you fuckers know U.S wants to pull out and we are. The war we first got into iraq is over, we toppled sadam. We are only there rebuilding the country and making sure iraqi goverment can handle the insurgent problem on its own.
