I Like That The Volume's a bit up and down

It prooves that this is Live + It's original

    Good Stuff Robert!

  • Beautiful!

  • A very unique song and style make this sound real cool. 5 stars Mike

  • i think it would have been alot better without the reverb, Instead i would use a natural reverberation of a room, place two microphones somewhere an record it like that. Its a pity that stereo effects are making it a bit cheesy, becouse the composition is really good!

  • This reminds me of Erik Mongrain but it is very unique as well. Nice Work. You are like a buried treasure on Youtube that needs to shine out in the spotlight more.

  • Sounds like the beggining of an Opeth song

    but really good:]

  • oh my god that was beautiful.

  • it reminds me of metalica its good

  • Very thoughtful piece. Great sound! I hope my music can become as sophisticated in structure some day, though I'm running out of days. :)

  • very cool rock on!

  • Very nice piece thanks for all the hard work

  • thoughtful and inspiring

  • I'm going to have top figure out how to do that harmonic technique in the beginning....I haven't been introduces to that before...Your song is incredible...

  • That's a technique I developed myself that I call harmonizing harmonics. What I do is pluck two strings simultaneously with my thumb. It works best in open tunings.

  • Brilliant!

  • Cool, very different and enjoyable.

Magical sound, Loved this. Subbed! :)

you should reshare this with all your friends and let them know that you have become are part of the project.

  • I just remembered the name of the music it reminded me of! It's by "R. Carlos Nakai & William Eaton" and the album was called "Ancestral Voices". It's really nice music (I'm usually into bands like Tool!). If you get a chance, try and listen to a song called "In the Silver Glow".

  • I'm a fan. I have their album "In a Distant Place" and love it. You should also listen to Ah Nee Mah and Coyote Oldman. Thanks for watching Nilesh.

  • Came about this video quite randomly - it's really good! Reminds me of this Red Indian music I bought when I was on holiday in California I think. It was a mix of traditional native American music and it had a lot of guitar in it. I just can't remember the name!

  • it has that magic feel like the vid of the guy playing 'while my guitar gently weeps' on his ukulele

  • Hey Thomas, thanks for watching. Yes, Jake Shimabukuro plays with a lot of passion. I never imagined that a uke could make all that music until I saw his video of "While My guitar gently Weeps". I've been a fan since.

A category of excellence. 5 stars without a doubt. I believe anyone giving less then 5 stars on this is just looking at it competitively, threatened by and refuses to embrace your masterful skill! Beautiful!

  • HEHE! i think that will be happening soooon!

  • Gee Jaggedins, I'm blushing...

  • Thanks Greg my bro! That's why I don't trust ratings sometimes. All it takes is for one person to rate with just one star to skew the rating results. Comments mean more to me anyway and yours do especially.

  • Brother Robert, I was moved in my spirit by this song. It's really not that often that I watch a video on youtube and experience the awe-filled presence of Creator God. "Earth Rising" has given me a refreshed filling of God's incredible power. I know why God is keeping you awake at night. He's obviously speaking His truth through you my friend. I'm moved beyond words.

  • Hey blue, thanks for commenting. Yes, that is one reason why I play cheap guitars. I wouldn't dare do some of the slapping techniques and neck bends on a guitar worth thousands of dollars. You keep them coming too, my friend. God bless.-

  • Hypnotic and beautiful. You wrote a great description as well. One day I hope we all will coexist in peace.

  • Buddy Kevin, thanks for watching and reading the description. I'm very passionate about this and about my music. I can tell you are passionate too by how awesomely mesmerizing you play and improvise on the piano. Thanks for your beautiful music.

  • Thanks for watching, Jaggedlns. I'll be posting more videos soon.

  • You're really getting the most out of your insomnia!!

I can really pick up a lot of technical ideas from your playing. I appreciate you divine inspiration, brother!

  • Hey brother Chris! I've been an insomniac since I quit drinking and other things about ten years ago. Some of my most inspiring guitar moments are when i can't sleep. I sometimes wake up and go grab the guitar because I can't get a musical idea out of my head. The last three years have been especially prolific for me. I thank God for the gift of guitar.
