That's a technique I developed myself that I call harmonizing harmonics. What I do is pluck two strings simultaneously with my thumb. It works best in open tunings.

I just remembered the name of the music it reminded me of! It's by "R. Carlos Nakai & William Eaton" and the album was called "Ancestral Voices". It's really nice music (I'm usually into bands like Tool!). If you get a chance, try and listen to a song called "In the Silver Glow".
