lol This cat is leaving it's scent on the dog. The cats have scent glands on it's neck and back by it's tail bone and in their paws and the licking is another way of leaving it's scent. Cats will lick each other to leave their scent on each other. I was watching some of the videos of this cat and it looks like it tries to be the dominate one. I love cats and these cats are so beautiful.

@dehoot With the persians, while they have a lot of hair, I've noticed that my "normal" haired Turkish van sheds FAR more than my Himalayan. It's all in the maintenance you put into them.  Brush every day and you don't see much of any shedding at all.
