@jar3817 Thanks for the video. I love bridges for some reason. I grew up in a town called Lockport Illinois, which is on the Chicago Sanitary and Shipping canal and we had swing bridges going across it in the 1960's. They are all removed now but ever since then I've been fascinated by these old bridges.
@JetMechMA No problem! This video really doesn't do this bridge justice, it was taken on a cheap point-and-shoot camera. I've been meaning to take a better one of the mechanics using my HD camera.
@jar3817 We'll all be looking forward to it. Thanks again. I think you folks in that part of the country have taken better care of your infrastructure. They preserved one of our swing bridges along a walking trail next to the spot on the canal that it used to cross, but all other such bridges are gone now. Joliet IL still has several lift bridges. None like this though.

@JetMechMA When it's moving? No, but once it's up you can walk across it (there are stairs)
