People from older generations would not often get Animal Collective, I would think. The sound of music and the instruments available are progressing...I understand how someone could not really get Animal Collective's music...but you have to give it a chance if you will. And listen to the lyrics too. Don't just listen to the music and write it off as soon as it comes on. That's no way to understand anything.
