(Mild spoilers) I realized how awesome this song was when you're fighting that one early boss, the Specinct agent... Stocke, Raynie and Marco all pull their weapons on him, and he thinks about it, and pulls his too like a boss. And it's like "whoa, I'm surprised they were able to fit this guy's balls onto the DS cartridge." Not really the hardest fight, but that's what I see when I hear this song--somebody wants to throw down and it's time to talk with the swords. What a great game.
This music made me stall on the final blows versus the bosses. The epic feel added to the fight's overall epicness. Course when I did decide to end the fight, I usually had full manaburst gauges so, 18+ hit combos when the boss might have had 100hp left hehe.
I have to agree with you on this sounding more like Legend of Mana. I haven't played this game, but the soundtrack is amazing. I think it sounds less similar to Kingdom Hearts for the simple fact that she had to adapt certain existing Disney themes, or themes that had a requirement to them. As here, she's free to do whatever she wants. Now I really want to go play Legend of Mana again lol.
Legend of Mana was awesome! :D It's one of my favorites! ^^ It's so creative that there's all sorts of quests, different places for the areas you go too, the forbidden book that sets the difficulty the second time around, how you learn new abilities, using all sorts of different weapons, making your own equipment, etc., and it was just all around beautiful.
The time traveling and saving the world thing was quite interesting in this too. And Kingdom Hearts has the heartless and stuff.

Listening this music all the day, or get back to work? I have to think about it carefully.

@rpggame16 it plays during some boss fights and some scripted battles. And I agree, this is my favorite track in the game. Yoko Shimomura FTW

Very good song. Yoko has done it again.

This game's OST reminded me more of Legend of Mana than anything, infused with some Hollow Bastion.

I guess you could say Yoko loves to compose music for games that have quite a high sense of creativity, huh? ^^ She probably demands no less! :D

You can tell it's from Yoko when you hear KH like sounds in it.
