  • 0:19 Adorable puppy/baby hug or awesome MMA fighter in training?! Lol!

  • dogs really do know when to fight back an when to just play

  • Reminds me of me and my bro fighting ;)

  • cutest vid ever thanks for sharing

  • the best, most loyal, noble, fun, loving breed of dog in the world, I love

  • My Staff loved the grandkids, used to let them in his bed, they would pull his tail ears etc and he just loved the attention ~~

  • that kid has some good wrestling skills! :D

  • @kevinxh0enderkamp

yeah but did you see that sweep at teh end the dog did LOL thats a UFC champ right there

  • now this is jujitsu!

  • this dog shows that the child has a "higher rank in the pack" when she sits on top of him, and obviously someone is supervising. Its all good :)

  • A Stafford is NOT a pit bull yet the myth persists.

  • i LOVE this video!!

  • Staffys are the best dog, so loyal and intelligent and are very soft, loving animals depending on how you treat them as babies....so cute! :)

  • So cute!!

  • hhahhahahha, so sweet , but is dangarous anyway :/

  • omg that was the cutest thing when they rolled over at 0:18

  • Thanks for posting this video! So many are out to discredit Staffies as fighting dogs. They are often ignorant to the fact that the temperament of the dog reflects that of the owner. Yes, at the moment they are bought by idiots as 'status dogs', I recall that German Shepards faced a similar reputation in 80s and early 90s. All we can do reducate.

If you like Staffies head over to my channel. I foster dogs and get a lot of staffies or Youtube search "Jack the Staffy doesn't want a squeeky toy"

  • for a dog to take all that agro from a child and not react shows its temperament! awesome dog, i want a staffy!

  • I guess you're never too young to start practicing MMA.

  • Awesome video and what a great dog!

  • @banjokid2k.. might wanna get ur facts straight. Staffys were NOT nor have they ever been bred for the purpose of fighting. Just cuz urs is aggressive towards seein other dogs doesnt have a reflection. I got a staffy that was a rescue n had never been around other dogs.. at almost 90lbs, its scared of my mini-daschund.. real aggressive alright lol

  • @banjokid2k what a dog was created for have no relevance to how they behave. Dobermans are the only breed of dogs created specifically for hunting men...they don't attack people cause they were made for it. All dogs are basically 99% wolf. It's the 1 percent that makes them into a specific breed. Behaviour is down specifically to how well the dog has been trained. This video more accurately represents the breed better than any history they have...they are the best all round dog in my opinion

  • They were actually called Nanny dogs in the 1900's

  • I loved this. Most well-behaved staff I've ever seen with a child! If a little girl were to do that to my staffy she'd get so over-excited she might accidently kick/nip/hurt the child. Every dog is different I guess.

  • Indeed, whenever there is a baby around our tina will go and sit next the cot or stroller, with her back to the baby. Protection.

Nobody understands loyalty like a staff.

  • This is an awesome video! Thanks for posting.

    Greetings from Sweden

  • I have a Staffy thats very large, he is a big scary cat, scared of even the slightest thing from balloons, to other things that make noises.

He is a big silly softie....

Untill he sees other dogs he does not know, then he goes wild.

But thats a case of him not being used to other dogs and also the fact that all staffs was orginally bred as fighting dogs they can have that temperment.

Yet i have a Pit Bull a who is not agressive towards other dogs.

  • @BanjoKiD2K Aggression stems from fear.

  • Such a dangerous dog, I'm glad the kid managed to just get away in time!

  • Loving this patient dog!

  • thats very nice :-) we have an stafford-girl and we know .. she´s the best friend for children .. she like there ..

  • very nice video. to all that misunderstands the beautifull ness of these bull terrier breed. i had three english bull terrier so far .all died hapilly from old age and the too of them i had them adopted from a shelter. i am preparing the fourth to accompanie me through the rest of my life .

not once i have seen them to be hostile at ANY child .ever .thnx again to the support of the breed.

  • @moltvalth

It all depends on how they are brought up and how they are treated, even the best staffs can turn if they are attacked or teased, but then so do all breeds of dogs, only its different with these dogs they get a lot of bad stigma, and to get rid of that any attacks are blamed on Pit Bulls.

A Staffy and Pit Bull are naturally good pets, if they are used to kids and people they are fine, if they are used to strange dogs they are fine, its simply how they are brought up that matters.

  • My Staffie, Buster had three little girls to contend with, he was the best baby sitter and nanny we could have ever had! he is 14 now, and they spend every day paying back the love he showed them xx

  • My Staffie, Buster had three little girls to contend with, he was the best baby sitter and nanny we could have ever had! he is 14 now, and they spend every day paying back the love he showed them xx

  • That little girl is a beast! Look at her go lol So cute!

  • Love this!! My SBT is soft as clarts, fantastic around kids and is even scared of spiders lol! My wife is due with our first child in 7 weeks and I know our SBT (Minnie) is gunna be just great!!

  • A dog is a DOG - and nothing more! Please, remember that. Not a "nanny" nor "a baby"! Personifying them is very dangerous. There are over 28,000 people bitten by their faces by dogs every year in the UK! See the facts for yourself: ukandspain(dot)com/dangerous-dogs/

  • Comment removed

  • My SBT is so loving, of everyone.... he would be the world worst guard dog, he would shower the theives in kisses and then wag his tail as they left. I've never even heard him growl before. and i get "oh she has one of thos killer dogs" comments all the time. Okaly is a purebreed show dog with better obediance then anyones labardor or bloody ball of yarn that they carry in their bag

  • @xXoldskoolerXx probably when kid hits a dog with a stick , dog thinks kid attacks and he defends himself i supose... that is one of the reasons why my neighbours staff attacked his little cousin ... but he only bite his hand a bit and it bleeded ... after few days i saw them wrestle , and dog didnt bite him

  • HOW CAN SOMEONE DISLIKE THIS VIDEO !!

  • i used to do the same with my lab. and ride on his back like he was a horse

  • Staffies get a ridiculous bad press....as we can see from this video....what is there to be scared of? its only down to bad ownership that problems begin. Its exactly the same with children....bad children usually have crap parents!

  • Yeah I have a staffy and I would trust her with anyone and she is especially soft with kids..! Shame there are so many in kennels in need of a good home...! I great dogs

  • MY GOD RUN CHILD HE IS SEVERELY UNLIKELY TO BITE YOU. UHHHH CALL THE POLICE.(SARCASTIC ALERT) EVIL DOGS.

  • The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is one of only two breeds from over 190 recognized by the UK Kennel Club to have a mention of the breed's suitability with children.

  • baby wins :D

  • THIS VIDEO PROVES THAT STAFFYS ARNT DANGEROUS! STAFFYS RULE!!!

  • Staffiys adores kids I have a book right in front of me telling me this...

  • i think everyone who has a staff knows they are all kinda like this

  • @oldyellowbricks123 Yes, but our staffordshire bull terrier is like 2-3 times bigger than normal staffordshire bull terrier. kinda weird but they are soooo cute.

  • " pinned YA!"

  • my brother has a Staffordshire dog and he is the sweetest dog.

  • Why do a lot of people say that Pits are so vicious?? Just look at this video. They are great dogs!!

  • AWWWWW SO CUTE i love staffys i trust my two 110% with my kids best dogs iv ever had hate it when ppl say staffys are nastie dogs because they are so wrong its not the dog its the owners

  • @xXoldskoolerXx i agree, i'm 14, when i walk my staffie, some people take one look at her and stand back, it's ridiculous really. i love my dog to pieces and she loves me and everyone else, and wouldnt hurt a fly.. she eats spiders i guess, that's it though, plus it saves me the job of having to touch spiders, but thats besides the point. everyone thinks all staffies are the same, when really, theres just one bad apple, it's probs the way some have been mistreated. staffies are amazing! x

  • I agree. I have a staffy. HE loves every other animal and every little kid. AND THEY DO NOT JUST OUT OF THE BLUE TURN AND START BITING KIDS. As the brainless people do actually think they can or will. DAH! Wow, i think i crash landed on the wrong planet eh. THey have lovely muscles, and are strong, but do we condeme a man to death who has big muscles?? We better eh, as HE MIGHT TURN AND KILL YOU! Imagine if we started killing for WHAT PEOPLE MAY DO.

  • In fact in Victorian times, Staffordshires were called nursery dogs, due to their loyalty when sitting all day near the babies pram, in order to protect the baby. God bless all Staffs and may the people who are cruel to them rot in hell.

  • @singe62 whilst breeding them in initial stages, it would be predominately working class doing the work. They were breeding for bull baiting, bear baiting and when that got outlawed, they moved to fighting, etc. They adopted such a friendly attitude to humans because a typical working class family would have many children, so if there was any sign of a dog showing aggression to a child/adult, they would immediately put them down in a bucket of water. An they are now instinctively friendly to us.

  • @availdname they also had to allow humans to get in the middle of the fight and pul them apart, allow medical attention while they were ripped apart and allow the opponent to bathe them before a fight and aggression during any point of that would have resulted in being killed. just to add to your knowledge. i got that from an apbt book.

  • @kolie914 That does makes sense. I've got a wee staffy myself called Clyde. 9 years old and acts as if he's still 1! Cheers for the knowledge man, I love learning stuff.

  • Even a dog can take only so much! Finally, it gave up and ran away!:)

  • I'm jealous of the fun they are having.

  • These have got to be the most 'licky' dogs on the planet.. My pup never stops licking.. he wags his tail and licks the air frantically at the slightest mention of the 'W' word. haha

  • Love it !! That kid will grow up with a healthy, confident attitude towards dogs. Win-win !!

  • Perfect dogs :)

  • I think Staffies have ESP! Ours plays tug of war with me, lays down for hours on end with our young daughter and curls up around the feet of our 96 year old neighbor (whom she adores) as he spends his days sitting on the porch!

  • In South Africa Staffies are known as Nanny Dogs because they adore kids and will protect them against anything. Great dogs but a pity that the people in the uk look on them as status symbols and try to make them vicious, it's not in any dog's nature to be vicious.

  • This video would surprise some but not me. Staffies are the best natured dogs ever and are wonderful with all children. There is much ignorance towards Staffies and it is really annoying because anyone who has ever taken the trouble to get to know one, would never regard them as dangerous. Of course, as with ANY breed, there are dogs who are not so well natured but that is usually because they have been mistreated. People are bitten more often by smaller dogs but that fails to make the news.

  • cutie!!

  • WHAT A GREAT TEMPERAMENT YOUR DOG HAS.. Bad dogs pfft dont knock them till you get one absolutely brilliant dogs.. My staffy would love to play with children but i dont allow him to because of his strength.. He still only young so he would be a little to rough but im sure he will get there in the end and be exactly like your dog here.. Great work with your dog keep it up mate.. Take a look at my profile i got a video up of him as a pup playing with a golden retriever.. =] and a few more videos.

  • This is so wonderful that you can trust your dog like that.

  • Nooo save the poor dog, the baby is trying to eat the defencesless doggy! Somebody do something! Don't you all know that babies are vicious and bloodthirsty creatures? ;) (I love this video, it really shows how the dog is careful towards the baby, its a very good dog)

  • so cute!!!

  • mine is the same she is brindle and my 2yr old son mauls her to death she puts up with it, loads of tolerance, and is really protective of him,but i hate it when were out in the park and people pull there kids away from her, idiots

  • @3rk4u i hate that aswelll i have two staffy and it is always the other dogs that come over my dogs dont even bother goin over when they see other dogs it is how you bing ur dogs up any dog can attack other dogs

  • @MrMiddlesbrough exactly!!! it's the other little dogs that come over and bark in our Staffy's face. Our Staffy just looks at me with a "wtf" expression! yet, if my dog get sick of it and snaps at the stoopid little mut, it's my dog that gets labelled "dangerous"! hah!

  • Wrestlemania

  • It should be titled: Child torturing poor dog :) btw, super patient dog!

  • staffies are awesome....they are so good with kids...actually recomended as top ten dog to have with kids around...awesome animals. people who slag them off are full of shit and got no idea or education.

staffies don't hurt people...bad owners do!!

  • @xXoldskoolerXx i totally agree with you weve got a staffy shes 12 now still acts as tho shes 3 id have another any day theyve such a fantastic temperment its how you bring them up and and get in the wrong hands then they can be a nightmare! (she thinks shes 1 of the kids ) likazy e ours acts like 1 and dont know about yours but ours is so lazy bone idol nosey and snores when shes a sleep

  • Baby wins!!!!!

  • aws... I hate my mum for saying no to a staffie

  • @TheMissDaisyxx how old are you? I'm only asking because these are strong dogs and need to be well trained. Maybe, your mum just thought you were a little too young for this. The kid next door wanted to take my Staffy for a walk but he was only 10 years old and was used to his little dog which he could pick up if necessary. I think my Staffy weighed as much as he did! :):) get your mum to read up on the breed, too. My first thought was "no" but then I read up on them and changed my mind.

  • The problem with staffys' is that their over populated which makes them sorta cheap dogs, which means anyone careless or caring could buy one, and if theres 10x the amount of staffys' compared to any other dog theres going to be 10x the amount of attack / Bites - Hate People who create these stereotypes by not bringing up their dog correctly with love care and loads of activity...

  • @xXoldskoolerXx i don't think all of the 20 people who disliked it think of a bad dog... maybe they think that one should tell ones children when they grow up, that they allways have to have respect for animals even if they are nice. if a children doesn't lern to handle respectfully with a dog than the risk is higher that something happens.

  • @xXoldskoolerXx i wuld trust the dog more then the kid ... atleast you know the dogs normal behavior ... the kids are to unpredicteble :P

  • @xXoldskoolerXx

some people just don't know it better

  • Soooo love that u put this vid up, its a perfect tribute to a wonderful breed! Contrary to popular belief, staffy's where originally bred to nanny the rich victorians kids! and it is only the stupid few who have hurt the reputation, so that all the breed gets tarred with the brush! I also have a rotty, another breed with an undeserved reputation! kudos to u for showing the world, how wonderful these dogs are xx

  • This dog reminds me a lot on our "old dog" Arco. He was 14,5years old when we must go to the veterinary... :-((

When Arco came to us in 1989 - he was going through a lot of... He also wanted to kill all animals - but we could stop that... To people especial. to kids he was always "the best Buddy" a kid could have!!

I was grown up with Arco and I love Staffordshire Bull Terrier!!! <3 <3 <3

  • funny:)

i love my staff look at my video on my channell

there some pictures at begining but near end theres a video of her pretty funny xx

  • Thee best video I've ever seen! Lol

  • That Staffie is probably heavier and definately stronger than that child that it is being so gentle with.It puts paid to the lie of staffies being savage,if a Staffie is vicious then you`re looking at the wrong end of the lead.

  • Posto i sam cuvam ove pse mogu slobodno da kazem da su najbolja rasa na svetu i da se raduju svima i najvise vole decu...

  • This just like my three staffies, they will like you to death without a doubt. I think your dog is amazing and what a lovely relationship he has with the little girl, people who think staffs are dangerous dogs need to look at videos like this

  • that video just shows how good staffs are with kids ,awsome video just wish all the little nobs who get staff crosses and walk round with them like they are well hard would stop cause thats what give propper staffs bad names

  • i have lived with staffies my whole life and they are without a doubt the friendliest dogs with children and the most loyal dog there is

  • wow i cant believe how gentle that staffy is. that is a great dog. anyone who says staffys are dangerous they need to look at this. i think most poodle are far more dangerous and aggresive then this. you gotta love staffys.

  • awhhh! the dog was hugging the kid! too cute, and when the dog's ear went inside-out haha :)

  • doooorr man just like my baby staff

  • Although this is how most dog attacks happen, when a kid is unintentionally dominating the dog, this is still a cute video.

  • YE STAFFIES ARE THE BESTT BROO... BUT DNT LET THE DOG FRIKEN LICK THE KIDS FACEE! GERRMMSS

  • this shows u that not all staffs r fighters. this vid dose them cred thanks

  • Staffies = nanny dogs, and this video proves it.

  • What's up with all this "dangerous" stuff? By breed definition staffies love people like crazy. Are they really considered dangerous somewhere? There's a staffie living in my building in Helsinki and he always refuses to let me pass until i've scratched and patted it enough an let him lick my hands wet. And being incredibly strong like they are his owners, when out on a jog, constantly have to wait until he's met, kissed and been patted by everyone in the near vicinity.

    Great dogs they are!

  • Great video , cant beat a bit of staffy wrestling, check my vid out of my boy and his dog

  • cute

  • how could anybody label this as a dangerous dog, ive got a staff called millie and she would never hurt anybody

  • such a cuttie :X

  • This is just like our Staffy Ozzy. We got him when my youngest child was 4 months old and he used to climb up on Ozzy to learn to walk.

I'm sick of the evil looks I get when I walk him and the nasty comments I've had from strangers about my 'dangerous' dog!

Ozzy would lick you to death perhaps!!! lol

  • this good raised dog not irronponsivble owner :D nice

  • she's got wrestlers blood

  • baby WIN!!!!

  • Haha, I used to do this all the time, cause I grew up with staffies. Had been about 3 years without one, and when my fiance and I started dating he had a staffy, so now I have claimed him as my own and have gone back to wrestling with him all the time. They are truly the best and most loving dogs.

  • They're fab aren't they, my 5 year old has spent most of the afternoon sitting in my staff's cage (and for anyone hating staffs i only have a cage cos she's a chewer) and making her play trains. She puts up with so ruff play from my boys and she's good as gold. People so have the wrong opinion of staffs. Can't wait for the day she calms down though hahahaha

  • Did your dog survive the baby attack?

  • As a 'parent' to 3 staffies I'd like to thank you for this video. The staffy reminds me of my little female... always wanting to cuddle. Thanks.

  • tells you all you need to know about staffs.

  • This is an amazing video and I'm so glad you have shared it!! staffs are bloody amazing dogs with the right training and owners :D my girls used to love playing with our Cleo (r.i.p my angel) and now we have an 8 week old staffy puppy there getting used to her too xx

I just love the fact that the dog has the power to destroy this child in one bite but he isn't interested, they treat children like precious goods and completely rein themselves in!

    GOOOOOOO STAFFIES ;D xxxx

  • HEYY I GOT A IRISH STAFFORDSHIRE BULL TERRIER WELL BUiLT MALE IM WILLING TO MATE HIM WITH PIT BULL OR OTHER STAFF BULL..IF YOU LIVE IN NEW YORK AREA AND WILLING TO MATE WITH MY STAFF MESSAGE ME AND ILL GIVE YOU MY E-MAIL IF YOUR FURTHER INTERESTED! THANK YOU

  • Man, these dogs are more tolerant of kids than I am XD

This is indeed why they are called the "nanny dog". They have a very high tolerance for pain (so they won't nip or bite after a child who accidentally hurts them) and, while quite energetic dogs, they know almost instinctively to be gentle around and with kids.

  • Please add kiera staffy on facebook if you have one of these lovely dogs :)

  • These dogs really are wonderful and dont deserve the rep they get. i blame poor owners and the press for jumping on the band wagon. Only yesterday on the news they covered another attack by a japanese akita but when the story went to there reporter on the street they made him stand with a staffie :/ MAKES ME SOOOOO ANGRY.

  • lol at the end staffy says, "im getting the fuck away from this beast!"

  • if you have not got a staff then your life is straight up shiiiittt

  • so sweet!!!

  • Go on you fluffy yap yap owners comment on this, yeah they are really vicious aren't they?.... Get a clue i've seen children bitten by more fluffy yappers but never a staffy.

  • sbt are the best :X:X

  • i got a staff saved from fighting and he is the best play mate my son has ever had staffs r literally the best nannys u can have

  • thats the perfect example of a good loving home xx

  • gr8 mate,, gr8 wee dog, reminds me of my wee arnie.

  • Too good "lickers" for my taste.

All those EBT, AMSt, PBT are too much like to lick. Like "boxers"...

  • Pretty cute, watching these 2 play together. I've really wanted a staffie, but needs to be a bit tougher, as it's going to be a guard dog on a farm. Can't have it rolling around with the intruder like this lol!

  • @wootlanter

if you are looking for a gaurd dog,a staffie would be your worst chocie.there more likley to lick the intruder to death.

  • @rangers11000.. absolutely...they are the worst guard dogs...anyone coming to our house is more likely to get knocked down just so he reach his face to lick it!!! but he will lick any area he can reach...when I first got him, it drove me mad the licking..the licking...the licking.

But have you found, if you let him lick his fill when he first sees you, he doesn't do it later? Maybe it's a greeting thing?

  • @rangers11000 i find my staffy is totally different at night mind you, he goes wild if he sees or hears anything

  • @wootlanter I can so see that happening!!!! and then he'll bark when the stranger tries to run away!!

  • This is brilliant, what a great video. The best dogs in the world. Its so cute it like they were gugging at one stage.

    Nice one, good stuff

  • Thats fantastic! What a wonderful dog!

  • That was too cute!

  • Aww :') <3

  • Amazing video, I wish more people saw this instead of just the newspaper stories of Staffies savaging people!

I disagree that it isn't the dog though, because you do get nasty dogs in any breed, regardless of training. It is just like our prisons being full of evil humans, we aren't all like that.

It should be the DEED not the BREED that is punished.

  • I have a stuffy named Maggie May and they are truly the most beautiful and loyal breed of dog in the world. They're just a bunch of big sucks lol

  • How many breeds would tolerate that? Not many

  • the only reason ppl use these dogs and pitbulls to fight is all that raw powerr they have cute video

  • hahahaha! brilliant.

this shows you the truth about Staffordshire Bull Terrier's. nice vid!

  • i love staffords!!!!!!!!!!!!i have one named molly

  • i agree completly.. but before you make your mind upsearch for... vicious staff attack on a 10 months old ..... and then tell me who s wright!

  • its the people who hurt dogs a bad name if you kick a dog at some point its gonna hit back regardless of who it hurts. my friend had a a dog that people thought was dangerous she also had a cat that the dog used to mother. it annoys me to see a dog getting a bad name because of its owner rather than the dog itself. all dogs can and will fight back eventually.

  • brilliant

  • Typical Stafford! mines the same with my little ones, so loving.

Bring back the dog license to stop the status dog owners. These are the best family dogs when brought up the right way.

    Great vid!

  • Beautiful...

Stupid people, believe stupid things, Stop watching the TV and reading ALL newspapers, form your own oppinions based on FACT!!!!

Their are no bad dogs or bad children, Just stupid Owners and stupid parents...and BOTH shouldnt be allowed to have either.....

  • And this is the dog people wanna band.... i mean yes theyve killed people but thats bad owners like mike vick... are we going to band vehicles because people die in them or cigarettes because they kill people... didnt think so.

  • wow, hell yeah ur baby is rough with that dog,he not that big to just being jumping on like that

  • staffy-bull-terrier . niceboard . com

A place for Staffy Bull Terriers owners, breeders, trainers, admirers, ect. to come and socialize. We are a family friendly site, so everyone is welcomed to come and learn as well as just have fun!

  • LOL your baby is rough with that Pit. your poor dog is being pinned to the floor.

  • i saw something similar in a judo tournament

  • this is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my entire life

  • The real side of SBT.

  • Thats adorable! i like the full body hug the dog gives her...and how he runs away when she gets off!

  • In my whole life, my parents have had 4 Staffies, 6 Rottweilers, and many more because they used to breed and train them. but staffies,

have we ever had a problem? no. they are the perfect dog. its the owners, that make them bad, they are, without a doubt, the best dog, to own. the most loveable dog, around. i would have this dog, over any other, any day.

  • This should be shown to all the doubters about these lovely dogs

  • this wat everyone needs to c they r loveable dogs

  • i had my money on the dog. i guess i lost.

  • What a wonderful video to show the sweet, loving nature of Staffies!

  • when a dog is aggressive it is the most dangerous animal at the other end of the lead that is to blame! not the dog. this vid proves that. how sweet

  • great vid

  • thats really cute

  • this is a beautiful vid showing what staffies are really like, both your babies are beautiful :) xXxX

  • that's irresponsible to allow a child to behave like that with any dog - if the dog turned you'd have a hard time getting it off her & there'd be a lot of damage done.

  • nice two little fighters! congrats :)

  • I have 2 of these also and there incredible with my kids and any other people for that matter. There VERY obedient and willing to please, so if the owner enjoys there dog being aggressive that’s how it will act to "please" the owner (the reason a lot of chavs own them). They will give everything they have for you and ask nothing in return accept your companionship.

I will always have at least one of these dogs in my life until the day I die.

  • lol, thats a great dog, way to go

  • Good th
