mr cook saying there is 1 God but when he explain it they became 3 & is it posible for God be in phillipines & u.s.a at d same time??is it possible also dt God can be in heaven & speak to HIS flesh (God manifest in d flesh"Jesus") at d same time?? d bible teach there is but one GOD so we need to know d formula about ds one TRUE GOD!
blatantly using terms that are NOT in the word of God. That's the same rebellion the children of Israel did when worshipping idols. The word trinity means triad, triple, threefold. The same emphasis are used in other pagan worship such as hinduism (shiva, etc...). Constantine had to make amends of Christianity, and non-Christians into pagan worship which concluded the Council of Nicaea. The Word of God IS profitable for doctrine, and damnable heresies, fables and such exist in this doctrine.
Jesus name means (Jehovah is salvation). Jesus is the image of God, when you see Jesus you see the Father because no man can see God or approach his light . When Stephen seen Jesus standing at the right hand of God in Acts 7:55 dimishes the verse no one have see God AT ANY TIME -Jhn 1:18, and He is omnipresent, which means Jesus cannot be at his right hand literally. This term "right hand" is used figuratively. In fact according to lexicon "right hand" means "honour and authority".
Jesus must have had two Fathers. The Holy Spirit conceived Jesus, but he referred to "my Father in heaven". If there are three persons, and the Father is the "first person" in the trinity, but he was conceived by the Holy Spirit, that would make the "third person" his Father, making Jesus praying to another Father, because in the trinity doctrine, they are "three distinct or separate" persons. No where does it say that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are co-equal, co-eternal or distinct...smh
sigh* traditions of men, and believing the trinity is a mystery that cannot be understood. this mess has been going on for ages. the trinity doctrine does not line up with the Word of God. This was first mentioned by Tertullian, and was accepted as a formal doctrine in the 4th century (Nicene-Creed). The word persons in the greek that they use for their argument is hypostasis. It is only mentioned in singular "person" according to heb 1:3. smh @ the rudiments of this world. keep praying!
This is very interested. Mr. Bernard was very concise and backed it up from the word of God. No where in the word does it say God being three persons. This is something conjured up from trinitarian theologians, and basically accepted as the dogma trinity doctrine from the Council of Nicaea. Many people can formulate their opinion or interpretation of the bible, but what does the Word of God say? It is infallible and flawless. Hallelujah!!!
Question: Did God allow this kind of talked between Christians who surrendered their life to Christ? A trinitarian and a Oneness believer so the one topic is Jesus Christ name? The one thing in trial here is Jesus Christ name and where should it be associated to? The winner in the end is Jesus Christ.
Confusion went in when the word trinity derived from the catholics was absorbed by the trinitarian christian. They can not say direct One God. What they believe is the Trinity is God , The Father , God, The Son and God, The Holy Spirit. While the One God believer beleives that the name Jesus Christ is the name above every name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
at 5:08 well said again. Jesus lives. The One God believer knows the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. may I ask the trinitarians what is the name of God, the Father and of the Holy Spirit
Jhn 17:21 That they all may be one ( NOTICETHAT THEY MAY ALL BE ONE); as thou, Father, [art] in me, (THE FATHER IS IN THE SON AND THE SON IS IN THE FATHER ) and I in thee, that they also may be one in US (plural ): that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Jhn 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; (THAT THEY MAY BE ONE), even as we(NOTICE WE) are one: THE ONENESS HAS TO DO WITH THE PERFECT UNITY OF JESUS HIS FATHER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT
2 Cor. 13:14, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all." notice The grace Jesus Christ all three the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit ? Luk 1:35 , The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.The Holy Ghost the power of the Highest and also that holy thing? all three
3 persons. The Son had a beginning: Pro 8.22-30 (God has never been without wisdom). The Son is not the Father but is an other self of Him who is the Father (double): Luke 6.12; John 14.9a 'I', 'ME', the Holy Spirit too: Ro 8.27; Jn 14.16 'another'.
3 personnes.
Let me give you trinity guys a home work, search the bible and tell me, one place in the bible that anyone baptize in the title, and if baptism don't save, why does the bible say the like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us.1 Peter 3;21, he that believeth and his baptized and shall be save, he that believeth shall be damned Mark 16;16. One lord, one faith, one baptism. Eph 4;5. Where does the other came from, and which one does the apostle use. Why then Paul in Acts 19,
@scubandrew And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that (you left out the word Not ) believeth not shall be damned.
the Key word is Believe.faith leads to actionand baptizam is the first act of obedeance...
Where does the bible speak about exactly what those (besides John the Baptist) thought about what happened at Jesus' baptism? hmmm. Also many people quote scripture. Even Satan so how many times one quotes scripture is not always a good indication of how biblical their argument is.
@MrBlackhaw Stop being argumentative about people quoting scripture, if u think u perfect restore another and stop judging how much scripture a person know. R u helping? Check your heart.
@mikezap1800 Jhn 1:1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
now comon sens and bacic hermanutics tells us that if I can't be with my self. Now, the Word (Jesus) was with his father (GOD) and That Same WORD (Jesus) Was God. Jn 1:14 say'sAnd the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as ... ( THE SAME Glory of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Jhn 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; ...only the SON ...
@Bigtony3868 they do share the same glory because Jesus was more than the son in the earth, he's also the father in heaven. Now show me scripture where it says their DISTINCT. I'm not disagreeing because these scriptures are true, but your saying they're SEPARATE and DISTINCT my bible never says they're SEPARATE and DISTINCT, my bible says they're ONE. So please show me scripture where its says that
@mikezap1800, Jhn 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; (THAT THEY MAY BE ONE), even as we are one: (NOTICE WE ) shows the distinctness between the father and the Son Jhn 13:31 Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.(in Jesus) Jhn 12:28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, [saying], I have both glorified [it], and will glorify [it] again. these scriptures show both of the sharing the same glory. Jesus is not His own Father!
@rickykboy name meanes Authority Mat 21:23 ¶ And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what name doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? Act 4:7 And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: ...
@rickykboy just like a police officer who say's "stop in the Name ( or authority of the law) the Word in the Greek Strong's G3686 onoma =o'-no-mä the name is used for everything which the name covers, everything the thought or feeling of which is aroused in the mind by mentioning, hearing, remembering, the name, i.e. for one's rank, authority, interests, pleasure, command, excellencies, deeds etc. so are you saying even though Jesus said to baptize in these names we shouldn't or it is wrong?
@Bigtony3868 He did not say to baptize in these nameS; he said to baptize in THE NAME SINGULAR...THE ONE NAME THAT IS GIVEN UNDER HEAVEN AMONG MEN BY WHICH WE MUST BE SAVED...THAT NAME (SINGULAR) IS JESUS..FATHER SON AND HOLY GHOST ARE TITLES NOT NAMES ANYWAY
@stedmans4christ 1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, (jhn 1:1) justified in the Spirit,(Act 2:1) seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles

@stedmans4christ Jhn 17:21 That they all may be one ( NOTICE AGAIN THAT THEY MAY ALL BE ONE); as thou, Father, [art] in me, (THE FATHER IS IN THE SON AND THE SON IS IN THE FATHER ) and I in thee, that they also may be one in US (plural ): that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Jhn 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; (THAT THEY MAY BE ONE), even as we(NOTICE WE) are one: THE ONENESS HAS TO DO WITH UNITY NOT! WITH DIVITION) AND JESUS IS TAKLING TO HIS FATHER
@stedmans4christ Mat 28:19, baptizing name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. praying in the name Of "Jesus" is is not a magic pass phase like "hocus pocus" or "abracadabra" it is praying in such a way that honours the Godhead.1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one
@stedmans4christ Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you. Jhn 16:26 ... ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, ...I came out from God. when you pray in the name of JESUS you are acknowledging that Jesus is Gods So Jhn 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which came from the Father,
@stedmans The Trinity is everywhere the universe can be divided into 3 parts time matter and space and phenomenon Time can be divided past present and future and mater can be divided into electrons, neutrons and protons water can be divided into 2 parts hydrogen and one part oxygen last but not least we are mine body and spirit . the doctrine of the trinity has to do with the unity of the father Son, and the Holy Spirit not addition or subtraction but the perfect unity the God Head
@stedmans4christ One commentator put it this way "we being finite beings to try to understand the doctrine of the trinity we can lose our mind; but to deny it we risk losing our souls" And I couldn't agree more
This man looks like a white sepulcher while rev Bernard looks like he's filled with the holy ghost and you can just tell if you've been givin the gift of discerning spirits that rev cook has hit some sin in his life
5 years ago, I started to learn about God, I started studying the Bible everyday. I cried many times. I prayed many times. Not being influence by a group, I was learning about God with tears and fear. I was pleading to know who God is. As I studied, I came to the conclusion to believe Jesus was the Messiah. I then started believing Jesus was the Son of God, and at the end of my studies, I fully came to the conclusion that Jesus is God, who is our Father, in which I am in his child. PTL!
@MrSuperEman that sounds spiritual but the bibles says 2Pe1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake ...2Ti 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. the LDS claim to pray also
@Bigtony3868 it's no private interpretation, someone believe this before I did, i just came to my own conclusion. Eph 4:6, One God, and Father of all There's over nearly 60 verses to testify that God is our Father. To Be God is to be our Father. Jesus said, "the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you." Is that spirit different than The Holy Ghost, NO. It is still the Spirit of the Father. Unfortunately many divide God. I can divide an egg too, but I accept it as an egg & enjoy it :)
@MrSuperEman One thing I'll agree with you on 100% is "Jesus is God, who is our Father, in which we are HIS Children " now with that being said I sill have to stress that Although HE is not "GOD THE FATHER" although he is "OUR Father". and the "HOLY GHOST" is not either on THEM although THEY are ONE. so, how do I come to this conclusion? based not on feeling but, though scripture. and not forming a doctrine based on one vs. in the bible but , based on the totality of scripture on a ...
@MrSuperEman particular subject. like the Jw's, Muslims, Mormons, and other cults do they pick and choose what scripture suits their particular doctrine; And say that and get a "burning in the bosom." Now, that sound spiritual , but it is not biblical . I personally find most Christians spiritualise every thing and rarely do deep studly of the word of God. The bible is our compass and anchor of truth! Luv you Bro. Look forward to more discussion with you! Pro 27:17 Iron sharpens iron 1Pe 3:15
" In the beginning was [before all time] the Word (Christ), and the Word was WITH [in communion] God [the Father], and the Word was God [Deity by nature]. " (John 1:1)
" No one has seen God [the Father] at any time; the only begotten God [Jesus, God the Son] who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence, at the side] of the Father, He has explained Him. " (John 1:18, NASB)
Do you imagine I came to give peace on the earth? No, indeed, I tell you, but rather division.52-for from now on there will be five in one house divided, three against two and two against three. 53-they will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against her mother, and mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother –in-law.
the Bible talks about the ONE God, it never talks about a trinity. God is the ONE SPIRIT who is the ONE GOD, who is the ONE LORD and His Name is ONE---His Name is JESUS.
@Thia911 Jhn 17:21 That they all may be one ( NOTICE AGAIN THAT THEY MAY ALL BE ONE); as thou, Father, [art] in me, (THE FATHER IS IN THE SON AND THE SON IS IN THE FATHER ) and I in thee, that they also may be one in US (plural ): that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
@Bigtony3868 I do not disagree once again because Jesus IS THE FATHER AND THE SON. When Jesus (as the son) is glorified Jesus (as the father) is glorified. There is no distinction. The bible does not say there is a distinction. Your making the distinction. The oneness does not have to do with just unity as you say. Jesus said he that has seen ME HAS SEEN THE FATHER. I cannot say he that has seen me has seen my (brother in Christ), or my wife (because the two shall become one flesh)
@mikezap1800 u r wrong again Jhn 1:14 (and we beheld his glory, the glory as( the same as) ...the Father,) Col 1:15Who is the image of the invisible God, ...(G1503) εἴκω eikōn an image, figure, likeness it's derivative from which we get the word Icon ; Jesus has ALL of His Fathers features (D&A divine nature and attributes) Just like a father and Son; that is why Jesus said in Jhn14:9he that hath seen me hath seen the Father;and notice he didn't say that he was the Father But they were ONE.
@Bigtony3868 you say this deals in the sense of unity. Can we say he that has seen me has seen Jesus? Or the Father? It is not possible. When he said he that has seen me has seen the father, and I and my father are one, He meant this in an absolute, Indivisible sense. I would like to ask an honest question. In Matthew 28:19, what was that NAME Jesus was talking about?
@mikezap1800 the Word Name G3686 onoma, authority, just like a police officer who says's "stop in the Name of the law (or authority of the law) That Authority whether Jesus ,Jehovah or The Holy Ghost. has to do with God's plan of salvation which is the PREACHING of the Gospel Of Jesus.1Cr 1:18 ¶ For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1Cr 1:21 For ...preaching to save them that believe. AMEN?
@Bigtony3868 I agree. What your saying is true but you must invoke his name when your using his authority. peter said to the lame man in acts 3:6 IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, rise up in walk. They invoked his name. When Paul had cast a demon out of a woman in acts 16:18 he said: I command thee IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST to come out of her. When you pray do you not say "In the name of Jesus?" Colossians 3:17: And whatsoever ye DO in WORD or DEED do ALL IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
@mikezap1800 Jhn 16:23 ....Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you. Jhn 16:26 ... ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, ...I came out from God. when you pray in the name of JESUS you are acknowledging that Jesus is Gods Son and ...
@mikezap1800 Jhn 5:23 That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath Sent HIM. mike you Guys the "Jesus Only " minimize ...
@mikezap1800 The Father while the JW's and Other cults minimize Jesus if you fail to honour the Father you are not honouring Jesus so you are not praying as proscribed Luk 11:2 ..., When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name .... Mat 28:19, baptizing name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. praying in the name Of "Jesus" is is not a magic pass phase like "hocus pocus" or "abracadabra" it is praying in such a way that honours the Godhead.

With Out Jesus You cant begin to understand the Father.
@Bigtony3868 you are entitled to believing whatever you believe. in the old testament there are NOT 3 Persons, but ONE GOD, who is the ONE LORD and that is it. if you choose to believe otherwise, that is fine. however, we can agree that Jesus is Lord and He is coming back soon for His people.
@Thia911 this is true! Jesus Is Lord! 1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, (jhn 1:1) justified in the Spirit,(Act 2:1) seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles

If i give you a check for $100,000.00, and i sign "son" on the bottom, or "father" were the signers signature belongs would you be able to cash it in? Why NOT? Because one of my [titles] are not valid. The check needs a valid signature. “My NAME”
The oneness speaker contradicts himself in his rebuttal. He first states that at no times (in the lod Testament) do the Jews have an understanding that God is multiple persons or that there is a 'trinity'; He then states that Jesus' assertion that He & the Father are one was necessary to CORRECT the idea the Jews had that the Father & Jesus are two separate (gods). Why would they ever think that being radical monotheist. Jesus was, in fact, proving the Father & himself are both very God himself
@shieldsff Both Trini9tarians and Oneness are wrong in the conclusions. They are so close and do not realize it. The truth is,,there is only one God the Father 1 cor 8:6.Had Paul wanted to teach God was a Trinity He would have stated ..one God who is Father,Son,Holy Ghost but HE did not
yes, true but I think you are missing the source of the discord. The problem is that the UPC "oneness" sect holds that believers in the Godhead and the complexity of God and those who have not been baptized in the "name" of Jesus are not truly saved and redeemed for eternity by Jesus. It is because of this assertion and the willful rejection of salvation by faith solely that this sect is a CULT.

If anyone would like to watch my series called The Truth about the Trinity, please check them out. There are tons of scriptures on how we should believe. Thank you. :)
the Trinity is everywhere the universe can be divided into 3 parts time matter and space, Time can be divided into 3 parts past present and future and mater can be divided into electrons, neutrons and protons water can be divided into 3 parts 2 parts hydrogen and one part oxygen last but not least we are mine body and spirit . the doctrine of the trinity has to do with the unity of the father Son , and the Holy Spirit not addition or subtraction but the perfect unity the God Head
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. notice again the Holy Ghost is called "He" shall teach you all things
Act 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. notice the distinct person of the Holy Ghost is God also the bible say so !
@Bigtony3868 we pentes also believe the Holy Ghost is God. Just because we believe in ONE God in different manifestations doesnt mean we do not know who God is. Jesus is God and that is our common ground, no one will get to the father but by him. If you believe someone who believe oneness of the godhead won't make it then that is shallow, being that great is the mystery of God. We'll never know him trinity/oneness are the same, except for our different understanding on nature and origin.
@mikezap1800 here are a few references Jhn 14:26 the Comforter , [which is] the Holy Ghost , whom the Father...shall teach you all things Jhn 15:26 ¶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; notice he him and who is sent?
@Bigtony3868 In your reference to john 14, just come back a few verses. Jesus is the speaker: Even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him, But you know him FOR HE DWELLETH WITH YOU and shall be in you. This plainly makes Jesus the comforter holy spirit. Vs 18: I will not leave you comfortless I WILL COME TO YOU. This is not a separate distinct personality but simply another way of Jesus showing himself
@mikezap1800 you are twisting scripture But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. the Comforter/the Holy Ghost the father sends him ( notice he not me or I ) HE is not the Father and is not Jesus should . Scripture can't be broken Jhn 10:35 but scripture should be studied in light of scripture not in-spite of scripture 2Ti 3:16
@Bigtony3868 I am not twisting scripture. He plainly said I (Jesus) WILL COME TO YOU. he also said you know him (Jesus) and HE (Jesus) DWELLETH WITH YOU and shall be in you. He was talking about himself. Your hung up on him speaking in the second person point of view. Jesus was plainly speaking of himself
@mikezap1800 Jesus Is with us, yes because He is God and He is omnipresent But Jesus is not the Father and he is not the Holy Ghost although He is perfectly One with them And t the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost is not Jesus the Comforter is the one who reminds us of Jesus and give us biblical understanding and sensitivity to the will of God. they THE FATHER and THE SON and THE HOLY GHOST ARE Distinct and co-equal
@Bigtony3868 You just said Jesus is not the father. I have scripture where it says he IS the father and IS the holy Spirit You have not even once given me scripture where it SAYS they are distinct and co equal. You If they are so co equal why did Jesus (as the son) say "My father is greater than I" If Jesus (as the son) Is co equal why is it that blasphemy against the son is forgiven, but not against the holy spirit. They would be both equally unforgivable if they're co equal.
@mikezap1800 1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
@Bigtony3868 If Jesus (as the son) is so "Coequal" why is it that Jesus (as the son) says he can do nothing of himself, and that is the father that dwelleth in me. Jesus said I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE not "distinct" are "coequal" Jesus says to the apostles I will not leave you comfortless I WILL COME TO YOU. I have not in any way twisted or manipulated scripture i just plainly read scripture to you.
@Bigtony3868 Also consider this: after Jesus (as the son) cleansed the temple and the pharisees came to him he said "Destroy this temple and in three days I WILL RAISE IT UP!!" not the father, and not the spirit. but he said he can do nothing of himself, and if you read Romans 8:11 it said the holy spirit raised up Christ. In light of the scriptures I have given you Jesus has to be all three. there is absolutely no denying this.
@mikezap1800 phi 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:.... what Jesus did at the incarnation was to add to himself Humanity and he laid his deity aside Read Jhn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) notice the father is distinct from the son?
@mikezap1800 wrong a gain they are not in competition with each other Jhn 13:31 ¶ Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him. Jhn 12:28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, [saying], I have both glorified [it], and will glorify [it] again. Act 3:13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; notice again they Glorify each other immensely.
@Bigtony3868 1Jn 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: Isaiah 9;6 (Col_1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
@Bigtony3868 In your reference to john 14, just come back a few verses. Jesus is the speaker: Even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him, But you know him FOR HE DWELLETH WITH YOU and shall be in you. This plainly makes Jesus the comforter (holy spirit). Vs 18: I will not leave you comfortless I WILL COME TO YOU. This is not a separate distinct personality but simply another way of Jesus showing himself
Act 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. the Holy Ghost is also called God .
to deny what the scripture clearly teaches is heretical yes nowhere can you fine the word Trinaty in the bible but niether can yopu find the word mullenium but the bible say that Jesus was with God and Jesus is God. Jesus talkes about his Father , now why would he say he had a father if he didnt that would make him a lier, And we know this is not true the It says the Jesys was full of Grace and Truth!...
And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness now the last time i checked us and our are plural.Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw (the Spirit of God descending like a dove), and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, (This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. ) now notice we have Jesus the Holy Spirit and We have the father distinct but yet together
This is the most beautiful truth in the whole world. We cannot make ourselves acceptable to the God/Creator by anything we do, no rituals, no sacrifices, no amount of good works can ever bring us 2 d point where we can return to the creator and say to him that he must let us back into his presence. all we have to do is be humble and say sorry for what we have done. Psalm103:9-13
What i don't get is why David don't quote Matthew 16 when jesus gives peter the key's to the kingdom. That is such a strong point about acts 2 38 and Jesus name Baptism.I love this we have some trinity people who come to our church and i go to theres. We know what each other believe but we never argue. Why can't we unite as one in the name of jesus and fight the powers of evil.
Jesus displayed all of the attributes of his father that is why when the disciples asked Jesus to show them the father and Jesus said if you've seen me you have seen the father he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; Joh 14:9 notice what colosians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: Colossians 1:16 goes on to say " ...all things were created by him, and for him: is the head ...Col 1:18 that in all things he might have the preeminence.
@OnlyTheScriptures i think you are confused i am a one God apostolic i believe in the original book of acts church ACTS 2 38 is what i preach the scripture that so many people get mad about i know the word trinity nor the doctrine is found anywhere in the bible what bible do you use? 1st tim. 3 16 is plain as day God was manifest in the flesh i like having friendly discussions im not self righteous i come from a life of drugs and alcohol i have almost died several times i study with an open mind
@erichathy222 Eric..I am glad to hear you have an open mind,I also have had one with studying the scriptures and it may be a shock to you but I at one time embraced what you now hold, the Oneness view!Did I go Trinity?.no..JW?..no..I have went from Oneness to One.Everyone believes in One God,it is how we describe the One God on where we have the disagreements.I too enjoy friendly discussions and I also have received the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus name..nice to meet you..
@OnlyTheScripturesshow us the father , and Jesus response was I ( jesus ) and the father are one. now Jesus could have said " I am the father" but he didn't. he said they are were one (in authority and in purposes). The same way the bible says the husband will leave his mother and father cleave unto his wife and the two will an become ONE flesh; If Jesus didn't have a father he was lying, Jesus Spoke of his Father and the father authenticated Jesus Mat 17:5 Luk 3:22 Luk 10:22 etc.
@Bigtony3868 Jesus could have?. HE did...John 17:3..that they may know THEE..the ONLY true God!..also look at John 17:11..they THEY may be one EVEN as we are one? Can the apostles be God too?..no..it is obvious what ONE means..that is..in purpose and in the mission to accomplish..Jesus not only had a Father,He had a GOD!..its in your bible :)
@OnlyTheScriptures , in John 1:1 the Bible says "s the word the word was with God and the Word was God it all so says that all things were made by him (Jesus) and with out him, was not anything made; that was made". In other words . Jesus had all the attributes of his father in other words Jesus had his father's DNA (divine nature and authority) that's why he said my father works hitherto and I work hitherto.... Jesus added to himself humanity at the incarnation
@Bigtony3868 You can check at least 8 english translations prior to the KJV and you will see John 1:1-3..all things made by IT [not him]..All things were made by the spoken word of God yes..Jesus Christ was BEGOTTEN..on a certain day, particular time, made from a woman..YHWH said very specifically there is none other besides HIM..God is Spirit Jn 4:24..Jesus was humanand He also said He could do NOTHING on his own..even the words He spoke were not his.. JOhn 17:3 is the most powerful proof..THEE
@Only The Scriptures name the translations and I'm not talking about the witch Tower translation the JW's have changed there Bible so much it no longer a bible. it's just bull lol
@OnlyTheScriptures Jesus is Destinct from the father Jesus said that I and the Father are one the same way the bible says that for this cause the man sall leave his mother and father and the 2 will become one flesh. notice Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: Mat 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son,
@Bigtony3868 ..Yes..I do agree Jesus is distinct from His Father amen..Jesus never one time claimed to be God..Here is what Christians do not want to understand.. Jesus cannot be God because He HAD A GOD..ok?..God has absolutely no one above him, over him,co equal with him..NADA..Jesus was a man anointed by God {Acts 10:38}..Jesus was MADE both Lord and Christ by his God and Father...Jesus was raised from the grave by his God and Father..John 5:19 Jesus said. I of my ownself can do NOTHING..
@Only The Scriptures no?Joh 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was I am (egō eimi) 59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. well, first of all the jews knew exactly what Jesus was saying, and they knew that Jesus was claiming to be God! what elses would have caused this response not only that ...
@OnlyTheScriptures Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Joh 5:26 Joh 10:30 "I and the Father are one.31 The Jews picked up stones again to stone Him.32 Jesus answered them, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?"33 The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God." Jesus claim to be God!
@Bigtony3868 Look at the verse..it is the JEWS accusing Jesus of saying He was God..not Jesus claiming it....JOhn 17..Jesus also prayed foe his disciples to be ONE,that one argument will not work either Tony :)
10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Tho blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? 37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.39
@Bigtony3868 ..yes sir..look at that verse reaallll careful..Look at what Jesus claimed.."say Ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world,Thou blasphemest because I SAID..I AM GOD?..no..the Son of God"..from his own lips HE tells us who HE claimed tobe..Jesus is called "son of man" overe 70 times in the Gospels, the JEws understood very well what this means as Eziekiel was called the same, they understood Ezikiel was a man...We have elevated Jesus as God,He never said to do
@OnlyTheScriptures - sorry , but you're incorrect.. Read the Gospel of John, Chapters, 1-10. Yes, Jesus is also Son of Man, but in application to Him that is a Divine attribute. In the book of Daniel, the Son of Man is a divine, glorified person. thanks
@shieldsff ..I am sorry I disagree, being divine means you or a person cannot DIE..hello.The Jews understood very well in Matthew 26 Jesus was claming to be the Son of God and by no means did they understand He was claiming to be Almighty.JOhn 1:1.In the beginining was the word {not the Son} the greek does not say or teach "son" is the definition for the word "word"
Pls define your understanding of "died". Here's what one should find disturbing about your position. Muslims, Jews, Jehovah Witnesses, etc.believe it an impossibility for God to take on a human nature & to enter his own creation.Does the fact that they falsely believe something contrary to the revelation of scripture give their opinions any credible basis in fact- No, their beliefs are meaningless apart from the truth. Similarly, you ought to be very cautious limiting God's pla
@shieldsff Death is exactly what happens to humans.no explanation needed.Jesus was a man and He died,Nothing divine about him,You are confusing divinity for anointing,a common mistake. It is not impossible for God to do anything, the problem is..He never said He would become a man,He has no need to become a man and He will never be one.He is Spirit..Jn 4:24.So Mary changed the diapers on God? God depended on a human for something? say it is not so
-one other point: In your view, it is impossible to account for the pre-existing person of the the Son- As I mentioned earlier, the Logos we are told by the Apostle John, not only was Almighty God, but also WITH Almighty God (i.e., was face-to-face in connection with Almighty God). Was Jesus merely engaging in a parlor trick of throwing his voice at his baptism. In addition, can you account for the use of the plural pronouns referring to God in Genesis & the Hebrew scriptures? Thks
@shieldsff John did not think the LOGOS was any thing other than what that word means..THOUGHT,IDEAL or Plan..This Logos became to be in the fulness of time.IF John wanted us to believe in the begining was the Son He would use another word instead.Almighty God cannot die.Jesus was not throwing His voice,He was a man seperate from his Father and God.He was anointed by the Spirit of God.Can u grasp the thousands of personal pronouns of I>ME<HE?..neither of those words mean or imply more than 1
@erichathy222 your use of drugs has nothing to do with the doctrine of the trinity . although we praise the lord for you deliverance you are mixing the real issue of the validity of the trinity .. now, john 1:1 says that in the beginning was the word and thew word was with God and the word Was God now if the word is distinctive from God But yet is called God then the must be something going on that God wants us to know...what could it be ? and notice again in gen 1:1 ...
@erichathy222 ..modern transaltions render the verse correctly as they understood HOW God bought the church..through the death of his ONLY begotten Son..not God himself
@OnlyTheScriptures Modern translations LOL I am not interested in aberrant pseudo-biblical doctrine clearly there is scripture after structure that claims that Jesus created everything that Jesus is God that Jesus is full of all of the attributes of his father and that Jesus all things were created for Jesus and by Jesus Jesus is no cosmic butler all though he came to serve and do his father's will Jesus is called the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings is also called the Alpha and Omega.
@OnlyTheScriptures modern translations are extremely inaccurate in many verses i think the most accurate is 1611 kjv and i dont think God sent jehovah jr. when it speaks of the son of God its the flesh part of God Jesus means Jehovah saves or has become our salvation 1st tim. 3 16 says God was manifest in the flesh it goes against nature itself to think almighty God sent his boy to die for us col. 2 9 in him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily and ye are complete in him both man and God
@erichathy222 He did send his boy!..only He was not from a eternal past or pre existent..He was begotten in the womb of Mary..Galatians 4:4...Do you know there is not one scripture where Jesus ever said "I am God" or is there any scripture in the OT that said God himself would become is own Messiah?
@OnlyTheScriptures im really sorry i had no idea you responded to me 2 weeks ago yes the bible says many times Jesus is God rev. 1 8 says he is the almighty isaih 9 6 says he is the mighty God the everlasting father the prince of peace keep searching and you will find truth ACTS 2 38
gen 1:26 let US make man in OUR image. there is distinction of persons throughout the scripture. this is grammar and logic that our God created through Christ Jesus in the beginning. please do not rob Jesus of his eternal deity that he shared with the Father. please forget doctrines and just read the holy scripture, thank you Jesus for the word. i love you all god bless and save the lost, i have oneness friends, unity everyone, please please, glory to God the father and our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Father, the Son of YAH, and their breath... the breath is the WORD, 2 tim 3:16 and it is set-apart john 17:17, Soooo.. can we see and hear the Holy Spirit? yes, how? john 6:63.. the holy spirit is the WORD OF YAH... the bible is infront of you, so you can see it, and hear it. In Yahushuas own words, "the WORDS that I speak to you ARE SPIRIT...
So look at the duo doctrine and the WORD that completes the whole truth, there is no trinity.
In speaking of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, Matthew 12:32 says, "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."
Alright let me ask the Trinity believers, do you all believe God is Lord? and do you all believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, Cause Isaiah 43:11 - says God is Lord, And if you read John 20:28 says: Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God, and Colossians 2:9 says : that within him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead Bodily: Ephesian 4:5 One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism,
In speaking of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, Matthew 12:32 says, "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."
1 John 5:7-(There are three that bear record in heavon, Father, Word, Holy Ghost, and these three are one.) The Word is the Manifestation of GOD, 1 Timothy 3:16, in the Gospel of John1:1 says (that In the beginning was the word, and the Word was GOD)
God made us in his image.. like him we are triune.. body, mind, and spirt.. are we three persons? no! we are one but with 3 essence natures.. oneness ppl get it right..
It's not really about who won the debate it's about someone recieving the truth that there is only one God listening to this debate i couldnt help but notice that david cook couldnt come back with a good argument and i think that's because as pastor bernard was preaching the oneness of God it was starting to become clearer to david cook. i pray that him and others will see the truth about One God!
JDt1890 Please.... I beg you understand that Trinitarians only believe in 1 GOD. You may not understand the HOW but we never support the belief of more than 1 god so stop making that arguement 4 us..

blatantly using terms that are NOT in the word of God.

BigTony3868: Excellent response from the word of God. Simply excellent. The word says what it says. Well done brother!
perfect7liberty 2 months ago

Where does the bible speak about exactly what those (besides John the Baptist) thought about what happened at Jesus' baptism? hmmm. Also many people quote scripture. Even Satan so how many times one quotes scripture is not always a good indication of how biblical their argument is.

PTL!

Did Jesus come for peace?
Luke-ch-12-vs-51
Do you imagine I came to give peace on the earth? No, indeed, I tell you, but rather division.52-for from now on there will be five in one house divided, three against two and two against three. 53-they will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against her mother, and mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother –in-law.

Jesus was, in fact, proving the Father & himself are both very God himself
shieldsff 1 year ago

It is because of this assertion and the willful rejection of salvation by faith solely that this sect is a CULT.

the Trinity is everywhere the universe can be divided into 3 parts time matter and space, Time can be divided into 3 parts past present and future and mater can be divided into electrons, neutrons and protons water can be divided into 3 parts 2 parts hydrogen and one part oxygen last but not least we are mine body and spirit . the doctrine of the trinity has to do with the unity of the father Son , and the Holy Spirit not addition or subtraction but the perfect unity the God Head

Bigtony3868 1 year ago 8
@Bigtony3868 we pentes also believe the Holy Ghost is God. Just because we believe in ONE God in different manifestations doesnt mean we do not know who God is. Jesus is God and that is our common ground, no one will get to the father but by him. If you believe someone who believe oneness of the godhead won't make it then that is shallow, being that great is the mystery of God. We'll never know him trinity/oneness are the same, except for our different understanding on nature and origin.

@Bigtony3868 Did the Bible say the holy ghost was distinct or separate from Jesus?

@mikezap1800 here are a few references Jhn 14:26 the Comforter , [which is] the Holy Ghost , whom the Father...shall teach you all things Jhn 15:26 ¶ But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, [even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; notice he him and who is sent?
Bigtony3868 9 months ago
@Bigtony3868 In your reference to john 14, just come back a few verses. Jesus is the speaker: Even the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him, But you know him FOR HE DWELLETH WITH YOU and shall be in you. This plainly makes Jesus the comforter holy spirit. Vs 18: I will not leave you comfortless I WILL COME TO YOU. This is not a separate distinct personality but simply another way of Jesus showing himself
mikezap1800 9 months ago
@mikezap1800 you are twisting scripture But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. the Comforter/the Holy Ghost the father sends him ( notice he not me or I ) HE is not the Father and is not Jesus should . Scripture can't be broken Jhn 10:35 but scripture should be studied in light of scripture not in-spite of scripture 2Ti 3:16
Bigtony3868 9 months ago

Bigtony3868 9 months ago
@Bigtony3868 You just said Jesus is not the father. I have scripture where it says he IS the father and IS the holy Spirit You have not even once given me scripture where it SAYS they are distinct and co equal. You If they are so co equal why did Jesus (as the son) say "My father is greater than I" If Jesus (as the son) Is co equal why is it that blasphemy against the son is forgiven, but not against the holy spirit. They would be both equally unforgivable if they're co equal.

@Bigtony3868 If Jesus (as the son) is so "Coequal" why is it that Jesus (as the son) says he can do nothing of himself, and that is the father that dwelleth in me.

38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.39
Bigtony3868 1 year ago

In the book of Daniel, the Son of Man is a divine, glorified person. thanks
shieldsff 1 year ago
@shieldsff ..I am sorry I disagree, being divine means you or a person cannot DIE..hello.The Jews understood very well in Matthew 26 Jesus was claming to be the Son of God and by no means did they understand He was claiming to be Almighty.JOhn 1:1.In the beginining was the word {not the Son} the greek does not say or teach "son" is the definition for the word "word"
OnlyTheScriptures 1 year ago
Pls define your understanding of "died". Here's what one should find disturbing about your position. Muslims, Jews, Jehovah Witnesses, etc.believe it an impossibility for God to take on a human nature & to enter his own creation.Does the fact that they falsely believe something contrary to the revelation of scripture give their opinions any credible basis in fact- No, their beliefs are meaningless apart from the truth. Similarly, you ought to be very cautious limiting God's pla
shieldsff 1 year ago

Thks
shieldsff 1 year ago

Bigtony3868 1 year ago
@erichathy222 ..modern transaltions render the verse correctly as they understood HOW God bought the church..through the death of his ONLY begotten Son..not God himself
OnlyTheScriptures 1 year ago

2 9 in him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily and ye are complete in him both man and God
erichathy222 1 year ago 4
@erichathy222 He did send his boy!..only He was not from a eternal past or pre existent..He was begotten in the womb of Mary..Galatians 4:4...Do you know there is not one scripture where Jesus ever said "I am God" or is there any scripture in the OT that said God himself would become is own Messiah?

gen 1:26 let US make man in OUR image. there is distinction of persons throughout the scripture. this is grammar and logic that our God created through Christ Jesus in the beginning. please do not rob Jesus of his eternal deity that he shared with the Father. please forget doctrines and just read the holy scripture, thank you Jesus for the word. i love you all god bless and save the lost, i have oneness friends, unity everyone, please please, glory to God the father and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rev. Cook looks highly uncomfortable. His body language screams anxiousness.
I love how he dodges the question about Jesus manifesting the Father's name & what the name was.
Feeling the pressure much?

In speaking of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, Matthew 12:32 says, "Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."
Is this not a distinction between two persons?

Alright let me ask the Trinity believers, do you all believe God is Lord? and do you all believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, Cause Isaiah 43:11 - says God is Lord, And if you read John 20:28 says: Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God, and Colossians 2:9 says : that within him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead Bodily: Ephesian 4:5 One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism,
