  • I too just did the peel and now on day 7 so completely finished peeling. I am having acne in places I never had acne better yet I didnt have acne at all and now I have these breakouts. Please tell me this goes away:) I feel like I made a bad choice because my skin was not that bad. Thanks so much!

  • @kswafer I think I remember that phase---don't freak out yet---call your med spa/aesthetician the am and let her take a look--sometimes it looks worse before better! Let me know what happens! ♥ Lisa

  • Very informative !

  • What an informative video! At my laser hair removal appointment this morning, the girl at the office was telling me that the VI Peel would get rid of the hyper-pigmentation. I got on YouTube to check out other people's experiences with it. Thanks :)

  • Hi Lisa! I like your videos. I have nice skin. But I have some freckles on my face. Do u think Vi Peel will help get rid of them? Thanks for your help. I am thinking to get it done this weekend!

  • You're very pretty and I love love your accent : )

Am doing some research on the peel, I have an appt. scheduled for early Jan., so this vid was helpful. Thank you

  • Just got the peel this AM (Tuesday)! Your video is very informative and I am glad I "saved" it in my favorites when I first subscribed to your channel a few months ago. I hope my results come out as wonderful as yours did. Thanks for the info

  • Hi! I'm 19 and just got the Vitalize peel done, and I had a weaker chemical peel done a couple weeks ago. The results right after are great but my skin slowly started to get the small bumpy acne just like before....how do you think I should counteract that? I wanted to go to my dermatologist and speak with them but I go back to school in a week so thought I could ask you and get your opinion! Love your videos. Thank You!! -Juhi

  • @jsharmag10 Hey there! I would just give it some time--I know my skin took about a month to get back to "normal"--the Vitalize put a hurting on me!! I think it will be fine--even better than before! :)) Lisa

  • Thank you Lisa for this video. I bought the VI peel and I love it. I did some research on it and finally ended it up doing it myself. Very simple to do and saved lots of money.

  • @Sampeto So good to hear that! I may do another one at the end of the summer--I cannot decide between the Vi and the Vitalize--I may try the Vitalize again just to see the difference! Good for you for doing it yourself!! Thanks for telling me!! :)) Lisa

  • @Sampeto hi, i would like to do it myself too. can you tell me where you got your peel? i want to try it but i really dont want to spend all that money!

  • wow you look so healthy, beautiful sun-kissed skin .)

  • What is the name/website of the place where you got the VI peel?

  • WOW your ring looks amazing. Must be pretty well off

  • You are so beautiful and I love your accent.

  • Thanks for this information lisa.....I am really contemplating a peel as I have had a hyper pigmentation problem for years. I am always terrified of these procedures tho....it reminds me of a snake shedding its skin. But I think I have to pluck up courage....as you skin is amazing! I have heard tho the more you peel...the more sensitive your skin becomes to future pigmentation.....do you agree with this criticism? :-)

  • I just had it done on thursday. I'm on day 3 and aaaah I can't take it anymore !! haha but so far so good. No rashes,no sensitivity,no pain. Just slightly itchy and tightness which is what's bothering me most. Cannot wait for it to be over, but I can already see and feel the new skin under and it's sooooo soft !!! I've also noticed my pores look like they have been reduced dramatically. Thanx for your videos =)

  • lisa u r a doll thank u just had a Vi peel and found ur video informative

  • You're pretty

  • You can do the VI Peel once every 4 weeks to achieve desired results. It's ideal to use the VI Derm line in conjunction with Oxygenetix, which is a moisturizer and foundation pairing. I get more compliments with the Oxygenetix foundation than I ever did with the mineral makeup. Oxygenetix and VI Medical Products are the ultimate skin care team! Enjoy!

  • hello, im a new subscriber, just wanted to tell you that i love your accent! Your very pretty, it looks like you airbrush your makeup on

  • Thank you!! You are awesome....I've subscribed

  • I'm having the VI peel done this week myself. Hope I have even half the results you've had!

  • Hi Lisa, thank you for sharing your experience. One question: did you see any results on fine lines (if you had any)? Thanks Reni

  • Lisa, I just got done having a ipl photofacial and monday I'm having a vitalize peel. I'm a bit scared. lol Have you ever used any of the skinmedica products? I also started using a few of them and was wondering if you've used their skincare. TY!

    Julie xoxo

  • Thanks for this info Lisa - I love your videos! My questions is what type of Obagi sunscreen do you use? I checked it out and they have several - and do you get it from somebody on eBay? Thanks for your time! xoxoxoxo, Liz

  • @4eab Hey Liz! I use the sunscreen form the NuDerm line--I have been for years--LOVE it! xoxo Lisa

  • Hi Lisa! I have hooded eyes and when I saw your intro. to yt video I thought you had hooded eyes too. Your eyes in this video don't look hooded at all. They are big, bright & beautiful! Please tell me your secret! Thank you so much for all your great videos. I've never met you, but you treat everyone like your good friend, so I feel like I'm spending time with my good friend when I watch your videos. :-)

  • Your skin is absolutely gorgeous! I am so jealous :)

  • MILF

  • Oh you looked amazing...AMAZING....with the light on!!!! OhMyGod girl....looking good mama!!!!

  • I'm having the VI peel tomorrow! I can't wait

  • Just found your site. :) I've had several Vitalize Peel and loved the result; however, I hated the peeling.

  • Hi Lisa! I havent been on yt in a bit so I have 3 Lisa vids saved up! It's my lucky day :) This is a very interesting and informative vid! Would you think this would be worth it for someone my age (25) to consider? I'm wondering if it would be a good 'preventative' thing to do? Or should I wait a few years? Would you have done it in your twenties? You might as well be in your 20's cause you look so good! Sorry so many q's, I know u get lots of comments so no worries!! You look great! xox ~Holly

  • Hi Lisa, thank you so much for this video. I enjoyed it. Your skin looks so glowingly gorgeous! I have to save my moneyfor a Vi peel. My skin problems are occasional whitehead breakouts and dark circles under eyes (I didn't count normal wrinkles coz that's my age, lol!). Does the Vi peel help with my problems? xoxo :) Carla

  • Looking beautiful as ever

  • Hi Lisa! You look FABULOUS - your skin looks so refreshed and glowy! I so wish I could do things like this,..but my skin is so sensitive I break out at the drop of a hat! gah! plus I would go bonkers with the peeling..i'm a picker - haha

  • can any ages use this? x

  • @Armysis19 LOL--It didn't--not too much! :)) Lisa

  • @arrriiell Thank you very much!! :)) Lisa

  • @teressathao Thank you for watching! :)) Lisa

  • @celestialfragility Thank you very much!! :)) Lisa

  • Lisa, thanks to this video I am getting the Vi peel tomorrow at 2. I hope I have results just like you did. We will see.

  • @SuziBrown1 Yay!! I am so excited for you!! Let me know how it goes--please!! xoxo Lisa

  • This was EXTREMELY helpful. I didn't realize continuous use of hydroquinone may or may not be good for you. I've been using it since April. I would love to know more about the natural skin lighteners that you mentioned, such as licorice. Do you know of any specific products that are more natural but effective? Thanks, Lisa! I look forward to your beauty timesavers video. Take care and God bless!

  • @RedLikeWine Hey there! I know that the Hydroquinone in the 4% is approved by the FDA--I think the problem is with the "user"--as long as you are using it like you should--I have not heard of anything worse than you hear about Sodium Laurel Sulfate and all of the other chemicals we use--I know the GloTherapy Skin Brightening Serum is the one I used last time I took a "break"! Thanks for watching! :)) Lisa

  • If your lips are chapped, you don't want to exfoliate them now! They are totally different skin than the face.

Actually, if you haven't seen DermDr's (Neil Schultz) most recent video on lips, you should watch that, it will give you some helpful tips.

  • @JLuvsMakeup I watched that!! They are much better--thank you!! xoxo Lisa

  • thanks for responding lisa. i am going to try the obagi but i have to find where they sell it in my state. i have called around but no luck:( now im off to watch your video on the obagi. i am so excited. been waiting for it!!

  • @blueeyedthumper I hope you can find it--let me know! Thanks for watching! :)) Lisa

  • You look great! I love hearing about this stuff! I started retin-a couple wks ago... it's really making me peel and susceptible to sunburn. In fact, i accidentally got burned on my neck where i missed w/the sunscreen and now I have discoloration. Not sure how to treat it... Anyway, I'm very curious about the obaj (sp)!!

  • @aimesbegonia That Retin A is the strongest stuff I have ever used--it's scary!! Thanks for watching! :)) Lisa

  • @LisaLisaD1 Were u able 2 stick w/the retin-a for any length of time? I started using every other day - I think this is going 2 help w/irritation. Also mixing it w/a good lotion. I've only been on it 2 wks - but man - just tryn 2 get thru this period cuz everyone says that after ur skin gets used to the retin-a it's so worth it.

  • Hey Lisa, that exfolicate is awesome.Pricey for sure but it makes your face feel so clean and soft. My skin is a little sensitive to it so I can't do it too often but her products are terrific.Even the cleanser is great but a tad too expensive to use daily. When I win the lottery I want to go to her clinic for a facial.LOL

  • @catmama54 Exfolicate!! Yes--I figured you would know what I was talking about!! When I win, I will take you with me!! xoxo Lisa

  • Well, I've never noticed anything wrong with your skin...it has always looked flawless. But I'm glad that you feel good about having the vi-peel done. Stay happy!

  • @CariciaD Thank you!! :)) Lisa

  • your skin looks amazing! Love your videos, you are always so kind and positive. Thank you for being you! :-)

  • @tararae8 Thank you!! xoxo Lisa

  • You are very beautiful and informative. I am doing that vitalize peel on monday...I can't wait! thanks so much..

  • @pharmboy27 Yay!! Can't wait to hear!! xoxo Lisa

  • OOOhhh you look so gorgeous today! xoxo

  • @bananassullivan Thank you very much!! :)) Lisa

  • your skin looks gorgeous as does your hair..I'm going to look into the Vi peel

I need something for my pores--those babies need tightening! :)

    I LUV Bridget!!

  • @scorp3434 LOL--your pores will tighten right up!! Brigitte says hey!! xoxo Lisa

  • Great vid Lisa. Would the Vi Peel tighten large pores? I don't have a pigmentation problem and I live in a sunny tropical climate. I ruined my skin by wearing heavy foundation for stage performances and having a party girl life. I tried a Vitamin C peel and I could not handle the burning, it was terrible so I am terrified of any type of peels. Your skin looks amazing,,,

  • @cinful808 The Vi Peel may be one you could tolerate--and it does help wioth pores--you should go read all about it and call your derm! Thanks for watching! :)) Lisa

  • I love how you put in the box "Today I'm Wearing" That's awesome!

  • U look so beautiful! I want to get this too~! I've been doing research thanks to this vid!:) Thank you for being so caring and informative! I trust your opinions and I appreciate your input so much!:D

  • Your skin looks really good! I'd like to do something like this in the future myself :) x

  • P.S. Your skin looks great! Very youthful and plump looking :D

  • Thank you, Lisa! I was looking forward to this. I've tried obagi several times before. I'm ready to try the peels!!

    You're sweet for sharing :)

  • Haha I love Bridget! I wish you'd do a video with her in it again. I enjoy seeing her cute face so much!

  • Your skin is fabulous! I am very tempted now :-))

  • Lisa, thank you very much for sharing. Your skin looks beautiful. :o)

  • This sounds amazing. I'm going to research it a bit more. But you have sold me on the Vi Peel. Thanks for always sharing with us!

  • Ahhh Lisa... I have got to try it!!! Thanks a Million for the review! Are you able to use makeup during the downtime? I work in an office with clients that is the only part I would be worried about!

    Love ya Lisa

    xoxo

    Olivia

  • Your skin looks great, but I wouldn't be able to tolerate peeled skin on my face. I would so be tempted to scrub it off. Thanks for the review Lisa.

  • You look so pretty as always!! Thank you for doing this video! xoxo Carrie

  • TY Lisa. :-)

I have very reactive skin so I 'll need to thoroughly research the peel however my derm put me on AVENE Retrinal Cream .05 a few weeks back & I'm still awaiting for age-rewinding results.

    I am so impatient! :-)

PS: your face is glowing! :-)

  • HI Lisa, you may have already answered this question, because I didn't read all the comments. I was wondering if you think that someone who has very sensitive skin could handle the Vi Peel. Also, do you know if it's good for fine lines? I don't really have any discolorations....I just want a more smooth toned look, especially on my neck and chest areas which has some sun damage. Thanks so much for sharing this procedure with us. BTW, your skin looks really good...very smooth and glowing :)

  • lol i love your little grin when you said "aids in penetration". Very good video again...you really are awesome behind the camera!!.

  • Your skin looks great Lisa! I don't think I can use this because my skin is just a mess right now due to some GVHD but I might check with my dr just to be sure. I've never had bad skin before but these days my skin is a bit of a mess. Yours is flawless and fabulous though!! xoxo Michele

  • Your skin looks amazing girl! I've never had any facials or peels, but I'm going to keep this in mind.. luv ya! xoxo

  • Lisa, so glad to see you are still doing reviews after all the negativity and jealousy you've experienced. Just know that so many of us love you and look forward to your friday videos and your sweet personality.

I saw that Bare Minerals has a new mineral viel infused with gold, have you tried this? Also, I miss your lip combo videos! Are there any new lip combos you are rocking lately?

  • Your skin looks amazing Lisa! Beautiful! I love your makeup too! So natural and pretty- I seriously always get so many great ideas for looks from you <3!

  • @sweechpie Thank you!! I appreciate that!! xoxo Lisa

  • Looking so fresh , bright - very good !

  • @Sintypink Thank you very much!! :)) Lisa

  • Hi Lisa, I've been thinking of seeing a dermatologist myself. I have a lot of red bumps along the side of my face and I don't know if it's acne or not. It's very fustrating to me. I have tried different acne washes like neutrogena and clean and clear and nothing works. I recently purchased the aveeno calming moisturizer but it didn't work either. Do you have any suggestions or ideas. Always good to see you. Ms.B looks cute with her sweater:)

  • @tysonboyy1 That's exactly where I get breakouts--I wish I had a good answer for you--the peel has helped for now, but you never know if it will come back--it seems like the derms always suggest retinol for these things--you may want to ask about that! Thanks for watching! :)) Lisa

  • Great information! While I'm thinking this is not for me, I really appreciate all the information. Always good to make an educated choice and I couldn't have done it without your vid. Thanks, Lisa!

  • @MACTackleBox Thank you for watching! :)) Lisa

  • Thank you for taking the time out of your day to share your experience with us. I'm looking forward to getting a Vi Peel myself.

  • @AdoreCupcake Thank you--good luck--I'm excited for you! :)) Lisa

  • Thanks Lisa, good info.

  • @Beecozz7 Thank you for watching!! :)) Lisa

  • OmG, you guys are so brave to do something like that to your skin. I think I would never do these kind of peelings, I will age with grace, maybe I´m oldfashioned. Otherwise I totally understand the ones that suffer from scars or something similar and they want to enhance their situation by trying this kind of treatment so badly. I don´t know..I hope this will work for you and please take care! Our skin is our largest organ. This will never be an option for me, but each to his own. Take care!

  • @Pecello Thank you for watching!! :)) Lisa

  • Wow, Lisa that Obagi really works for you! Your complexion looks great. I have MAC Peachykeen blush too; it's a pretty color. The LM Mineral Powder is wonderful; it looks so natural. BTW, have you tried any "mineral lip sticks or lip glosses"? They might be more soothing for your lips if they are chapped. Avon has a good mineral lipstick, and the Revlon mineral lip glosses are pretty good too! Awww, Bridget and Will are so cute! Love her pink sweater/jacket!

  • @bgoldrock Hey there! I have been wearing the Jane Iredale glosses--they are mineral/natural and I love them--today I am wearing the Mirabella--love it, too! Thanks for watching! xoxo Lisa

  • @LisaLisaD1 Yes, Jane Iredale glosses are really nice too. I have the one in "Apricot"; they have a nice "minty" smell & taste:-) Cheers!

  • Lisa, you look fabulous!

  • @rosepedalable Thank you!! xoxo Lisa

  • Is there a sunscreen that you recommend? My face tends to get a little oily in my T Zone by the end of the day so something that wouldn't make it any more oily would be great!!! Your skin looks AMAZING!!! Love your videos!!

  • @Skinnyminnie211 I use the Obagi sunscreen--it is the zinc based type--it comes out white--one that it similar that I like is the Mac Prep N Prime SPF50--I like both of those and I have an oily t-zone--hope that helps! Thank you!! xoxo Lisa

  • i know i mentioned to you the skin tool called Le Edge- Lisa i wish i could buy everyone with skin this tool !100% improvement in my skin- sun spots are disappearing-one nose to mouth faint line is GONE- the other is 50% gone- no pain- no chemicals- its almost to good to be true-the only bad thing is i could kick my self for not using it sooner-much love my lovley southern gal! x shelly-anyone else who wants to know it where it can be bought -targetcom-amazoncom -read the reviews!!!!!

  • @magicadespell56 That sounds a lot like derma-planing--I have not had that done, but I have heard great things about it--they say that is why men have such good skin, because they shave/exfoliate every day! Thanks, Shelly! xoxo Lisa

  • Great video. Now I need to see if I want to do laser or chemical. I had a consult for the revitalize, they use retinol too. I want something to take away redness. I think I need V beam. Have you looked into pearl laser? Your skin looks radiant.

  • @neicyk13 Thank you! I have had the IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) done a few times for dark spots and broken capillaries--not that good of results for the money--I know what you mean about the redness--I hate it, too! :)) Lisa

  • great information. Thanks for sharing. Your skin looks great.

  • @starfish628 Thank you!! :)) Lisa

  • Thanks for this video!! Your skin looks glowing! Do you mind making a skin care routine video sometime later when you finish using Obagi system? Thanks!!! :)

  • @Pheli82 Thank you! I hope to do a skincare/Obagi video this week! :)) Lisa

  • Your skin is beautiful! I think "regular" dermatologists are really just more focused on "disease" conditions than "cosmetic" ones and many do just not know that much about cosmetic products. Mine doesn't! lol I agree with you about hydroquinone-intermittant use is fine. I have used 4% off and on for many years and no problems. xo Jan

  • @Catalina031 Thanks, Jan--I agree on the derms--I don't blame them for focusing on the more important issues! I love going to the aesthetician--but it can get costly! Thanks for watching! xoxo Lisa

  • Great info Lisa; thanks. I was using the hydroquinone last year for a short period of time. Once I became aware of the possible side effects I quit using it. I also quit using the Renova I was using. My face just stayed so dry all the time. I, like your husband have had skin cancer on my nose so I go for a full body scan every year. When I go this year I'm going to ask about the Obagi.

  • @familymatters1234 I know what you mean about the dryness--I am going to give a good six weeks and then back off of the retin A for a while--but it really does help the Hydroquinone get down deep if your pigmentation is stubborn! Thanks for watching! :)) Lisa

  • Very informative, Lisa! Thank you :)

  • @rdmlc5 Thank you for watching!! :)) Lisa

  • You are glowing Lisa! You look amazing! :)

  • @milkshake841 Thank you!! xoxo Lisa

  • Hello!!I have very sensitive very dry pale skin with allergic eczema sometimes in year, you think is suitable for me?Is for all ages?I f anyone knows or have the same skin and tried it plzzz let me know about it..thanks for your time !!Lisa your skin does look better(not that you had a problem lol)! Liza.

  • @MissElizabeth1488 Hey Liza! I would suggest that you go get a facial at a reputable place and ask what they suggest--they may have something perfect for you, I have never really dealt with dry skin, but they will know what works best! Thanks for watching! Lisa

  • Your skin looks amazing in this video Lisa x

  • @Avril0407 Thank you!! :)) Lisa

  • lovely lisa!

  • @rosesareredandpink Thank you!! Lisa

  • Hi Lisa! AMAZING! Quick question- how close to the eyes is the peel applied? On the lids? Underneath where crow's feet begin to tread lightly? You look ten years younger! Yours is the voice most convincingly in genuine warmth and full disclosure- we owe you a real debt of gratitude! Thank you.

  • @RomanticLilly Great question!! She got really close to my eyes on the sides and underneath, but not on that under-eye skin--if you know what I mean! She did get the places that wrinkle--I was glad--none on the upper lids--I do think that it helped with the tiny wrinkles and around my mouth--my neck for sure! Thanks again!! xoxo Lisa

  • This is something I will definitely discuss with my dermatologist the next time I go see him. Thank you for sharing. Have a great week.

  • @spaceystacey100 Thank you for watching!! :)) Lisa

  • Your skin is glowing Lisa :D

Do you mind to share how you use the retin a and obagi? Do you use the whole system or just the vitamin C? Thanks.

  • @bonbonyim Thank you!! I hope to do my Obagi video this week! xoxo Lisa

  • Im still loving those bare minerals eyeshadows on you...soooo flattering! Bridgett is such a cutey playing in the background lol Love you! xx

  • @crowleycf Thank you--I love them, too! Brigitte is something--I love her! xoxo Lisa

  • My mom is about 8 years older than you and I showed her this video and she's really thinking about doing this. She has a lot of skin pigmentation problems from sun and just age. She might get the stronger one because her skin is pretty bad and it's tough so she could handle it. I might get the one you got cause I'm only 17 and have very sensitive skin. You made us so excited! Haha. This is gonna be my Christmas present!

  • @meaganroosh I am excited for both of you--she should really check into this and the Obagi--both together would work wonders--I am going to do that video next--I am happy for you because you have gotten interested in skincare at a young age--that will help you so much--sunscreen--sunscreen!! thanks for watching! :)) Lisa

  • Your skin looks AMAZING!!

  • @gmillhouse Thank you very much! :)) Lisa

  • Wow Lisa, your skin looks amazing, Thanks for explaining everything so well, i really would like to try it , hope you have a blessed day, =+)

  • @erpie2121 Thank you!! You, too! xoxo Lisa

  • i love your accent :D Your skin looks great, really radiant!

  • @starsunflower Thank you!! :)) Lisa

  • do you think it does anything for the pores? i hate my orange skin pores.. well hate is a strong word, but i do not *like* them lol

  • @stuffstuffstuffyay Yes! I do think it helps with the pores--when you exfoliate like this, it shrinks them back to normal--it cleans out all the debris--old skin cells--check it out with your derm! Thanks for watching! :)) Lisa

  • You look gorgeous!

  • @happysad321 Thank you!! :)) Lisa

  • Your skin really is radiant.

  • @momsthatlovemakeup Thank you very much! :)) Lisa

  • Hi Lisa! Your skin is glowing and beautiful. I think I would love to try this Vi Peel, but I'm scared to death to try it. The end result is amazing. I don't know! Great video-

  • @Taffiegoodloe Thank you! Don't be scared--I would not do it if it hurt too bad--just MAKE SURE you go to a good person who cares about you and has done lots of them--don't do it at home! Thanks for watching! :)) Lisa

  • Your skin does look wonderful. I, too, am interested in doing this, and I thank you for sharing your experiences with both procedures. Does it vary individually how often the procedures have to be repeated or is there a standard amount of time that is recommended between procedures?

  • @nowelle427 Good question! You can get them as close as two weeks apart--but I personally would wait a little longer--I wouild love to get another in about two months! Thanks for watching! :)) Lisa

  • your skin looks so healthy and beautiful......

  • @peaceloveandjewelry Thank you!! :)) Lisa

  • u look stunning, just gorgeous

  • @dalal784 That is so nice--thank you!! :)) Lisa

  • HI LISA!!!!! So Glad To See You! Don't Care What You Are Saying!!!!! Ha-ha!!! :)

    Very good Video! Thanks!!

  • @thatsitable1 Thank you!! I appreciate you watching!! xoxo Lisa

  • great video, can´t wait for the Obagi video!!!!

I think more people need to do video on chemical peels! A lot of people hear the word "acid" and are immediately freaked out, when in fact peels can do so much for your skin and don´t do any harm if you chose the right peel for your skintype/skin issue, and the right strength is important as well.

  • @LadyProtector I agree--it actually helps in removing the old skincells that turn into cancer--my derm has always recommended exfoliation--she always sends a lot of Glycolic product samples home with John, but he is too "manly" to do all that!! I will address the health benefits in the Obagi video! Thank you! :)) Lisa

  • Your skin looks fantastic! I also love the way you look when that extra light is on! We can see you much better that way :D

  • @jeninjimi Thank you!! I will leave it on next time--it's hard to tell in the monitor--I thought I was too washed out! :)) Lisa
