@bpressnall Actually I've skied all over the world, including the US East and Alaska. The run you are referring to, is really steep, bumped up and has frozen spring slush on it. There were a number of expert skiers with me; who didn't ski it, they went around on the groomer. I was the first skier on it that day, and probably the only one.
@skiwhh Judging by your buddy waving at you, looks like you were the second skier that day. Steepen it up to 55 degrees, throw in some hard breakable rain crust over old powder with a cliff jump in the middle,and you would be getting a little closer to "about as knarly as it gets". I had to laugh, as I later found out you are from Colorado! No offense though, you ski great! Keep it up!
