@MrKubala actually there is an OS called backtrack that is based off ubuntu which is made pretty much just for hacking....

i would say backtrack is the best but it is harder 2 use and not for beginners....

I'm not a hacker or i don't have as much knowledge as a hacker.

But i have one good question: Why do you ppl want to copy and paste his code, you woun't learn anything. Learn linux from the beginning and don't just install a linux OS andjust copy hackers' codes. Learn everything yourselves so that u understand what you're doing. What's the point with hacking without knowing even what you're actually doing during the process? If you have any comments about this, please message me.

sudo airmon-ng (finds out your interface)

then: sudo airmon-ng "your interface" (e.g wlan0)

then: sudo airmon-ng start "your interface"

It'll then enable Wlan0 in monitor mode under "mon0" this works under 10.04 I'm pretty sure it'd be the same under 9.04 terminal

1) Do you have to run the 2. and 3. terminal in the same time to collect IVS, or wait for the 2. terminal to collect enough packets, and then run all the comands in the 3. terminal?

2) What does the "Sending DeAuth..." do? Does the packet collecting process go faster when you run it?

3) What are ARP and ACKS?
