  • Hi - I really enjoyed the vid and your commentary. I've been thinking about getting a Cordoba GK like yours, so this has been very helpful. You have a different, but very cool style of playing. Thanks for posting!

  • @jimdaddy101 Thanks so much :)

  • Where is this guitar made? I can't believe you can get it for $649 dls. I want to buy one and if is made in Spain, I'll be more than happy and I won't need any other guitar.

  • @SalvvOrtiz Cordoba's are made in California. They have a website as well were the list their dealers. Also look on Musician's Friend. hope this helps

  • @JustyStoky I just found that they are made in China. Big disappointment. Maybe some of the most expensive are made in California, but this one is made in China.

  • @SalvvOrtiz I looked it up it says that most are made in China, but at least it says "handmade" lol which makes me feel a little better. It' still a good guitar if you wanna get it there are also 2 more Studio models. The GK Studio Pro is the most expensive one

  • @JustyStoky Yes it's still a good guitar, and they are kind of embarrased to put the "Made in China" label at the sound hole, so they put a small one way inside at the neck heel. Am thinking about buying one and just remove the small label.

  • @JustyStoky Cordoba guitars were never made in California, prior to being made in China, they were mostly made in Spain, a few were made in Portugal. I own 3 Cordobas, two Spanish made, and one from Portugal. The Chinese Cordobas are quality guitars, but they dont have the same tone as the Spanish made versions.

  • nice guitar. I'm thinking about getting one of those myself. I had a yamaha classical/flam. and sold it. :( try some jerry reed stuff if you like to finger pick

  • @seaside882000 thanks for watchin the vid. yeah jerry reed stuff is above my level i think lol

  • @JustyStoky I don't think so man! You play well. Keep picking and thank you.

  • @seaside882000 thanks man !!

  • I just bought this guitar today. I've been playing it at Guitar Center when I stopped in there from time to time. I bought the Fishman Mini Loudbox amp and it sounds awesome with this guitar. If your looking for an inexpensive but awesome amp to match up with this guitar, check it out!

  • @RDM213 thanks for watchin the video. The loud box mini was the next thing i bought lol I made a video on it as well.

  • i like your accent. nice guitar

  • @kssork thanks :)

  • Excellent review, great playing, and your song was great!

  • @muddhole777 thanks so much :)

  • okay i bought one too. thanks for the great review!

  • @sociojeje no problem glad it helped you :)

  • i really enjoyed this thanks

  • @skateboardjaw your welcome

  • Thank you so much :) you helped me be absolutely POSITIVE that a cordoba guitar is what I'm looking for

  • @xxpurstar thanks so much :)

  • nice song idea !

  • @RDblues47 thanks :)

  • i found this is not a classical guitar but flamenco..its gypsy kings model..gypsy kings are flamenco..sorry

  • @MDefsquad9 The "difference" between classical and flamenco is trivial. This is a very versatile guitar because you CAN use it for both genres. I know I have my eye on this guy 'cause it sounds great even unplugged, looks awesome and priced right. The ibanez aeg10ne doesn't sound that great unplugged so this is the guy for me.

  • nice guitar...im either getting this or a les paul studio

  • @bryceh12321 this is a flamenco guitar, not good for classical guitar students.

  • @bryceh12321 thanks so much man :)

  • at this point this is my most viewed video, please check out my drum videos . They're much better, drums is my main instrument Thanks :)

  • nice piece on the guitar...you seem like a genuinely nice guy (which is more important than any old guitar)! The world would be a better place if more people were honest and humble like you seem to be...anyway, just thought I would tell you that it was refreshing watching someone who wasn't trying to "be somebody"..Thanks! BTW, your playing is good also.

  • @Family4china thanks so much, guitar's not my main instrument I guess that's why when I play guitar I try to be humble about it, but yeah thanks for the kind words :)

  • is it made in china? or spain??

  • @baxtcy as far as i know its made in the US in California

  • is it made in china? or spain??

  • niiiice and what song is that at 3:55?

  • @MDefsquad9 yeah, the thing at 3;;55 is me noodling around not really a song, maybe i could use it in a song, lol but thanks for the comment

  • @JustyStoky sweet yeah you should make a song out of it..is it a thin body like cordoba 55FCE thin body?

  • @MDefsquad9 yeah the body is thin like the 55FCE actually it looks almost identical its very light weight wise

  • I meant - sides and back are so light ;)

  • Ya that guitar sounds good :) It seems to enjoy its high end. I dont know what else you can use for an acoustic guitar's top except Sitka Spruce. Both the top and the sides are so light I cant guess from the vid what it might be. Birch??? Definetly need to hear more from that Ax. Great demo. If they could use a salesman they should grab you :D Thx .

  • @badback22 I found out from their website what it's made of, Solid European Spruce Top, Cypress Back & Sides, Rosewood Fingerboard, Bridge, and Binding ,

yeah, Cordoba should give me a call, lol, promotions, sales rep something

  • @JustyStoky oh yea and is this a thin body guitar?

  • is there anything you "can't" play?

    aw

  • @awplace well, i know i can't sing lol have a great day Andy :)
