i think you could use a bit more sustain, just so like when youre tapping the notes they hold a bit more of a value. i just noticed that when you were playing the tapping part at the beginning of the solo. defininitely not bad for as clean of a distortion as what you have!

For metal, turn the mids all the way down (or a lil bit up) and crank the treble, drive full, channel volume full, bass should be at about 2 oclock, and put on some tape echo and set the tap speed very high.

But you must not know a lot about Ibanez... heck, I myself don't know shit about Ibanez, but I do know that they're not all shreddy super-strats. Type "Ibanez Archtop" into Google Images. They make some pretty nice guitars that aren't heavy metal.

Also, Tony Iommi used a Gibson SG, and he's regarded as a heavy metal god. So there you go ^_^
