they need to fix this best of both worlds thing like the cb goes for the catch then in mid air changes his position to tackle him after the missed attempt

agree. the branching of animations that were introduced in madden 08 have really had a negative impact on how the game plays. They switch from one animation to the next without regard for physics. They need to complete the animations instead of branching from them.
