most people compare cars of equal power, forgetting two other very important factors. Drive wheels and wweight. 4 is always better than two, especially on lighter vehicles. Rather compare using a ford cosworth 4wd.

Blargh, horrible show. If I want to watch British guys doing jokes while testing cars, I watch Top Gear. Shooting a football with the car, and if you miss, you get a penalty? What a joke, can't take this serious, sorry.

first off i prefer the ford over the evo. that said, i think it's a very truthful comparison because they both have 300 BHP and weigh about the same. the engineers over at ford should have kept up with the faster accelerating, better handeling evo.

i never watch fifth gear, im a topgear fan but the truth is, fifth gear gives you the details about the cars properly, unlike topgear they just say its the best, and then make jokes about it allday.

Hola , hay una muy buena comparativa en la revista auto hedbo sport del nº 1238del 6 de julio del 2009, es española.pero los ponen a los dos muy bien, el Evo en carretera de montaña es el rey, su sistema de traccion ( tres autobocantes, delantero, central y trasero) es único, pero no tiene nada que envidiarle el focus con su autoblocante delantero, y sobre todo el precio, 33900€, frente a los 57900€ del EVO,....Son dos grandes máquinas,....todos mis respetos!!

What a pointless comparison.

Handbrake turning and putting a ball in a net really lets you know what he cars are like to live with on UK roads.

Even the track test is not exactly helpful.

De hecho e un gran auto, muchos lo critican por ser FWD, pero realmente no le pide nada ni al EVO X ni al WRX STI. Muchos autos de su categoría quisieran tener las prestaciones y relación precio/potencia del Focus. Aparte es un auto para presumir no para estar corriendolo en pista, y realmente 1 o 3 segundos no son la gran cosa.

De hecho ya se aproxima la llegada de este auto a México =D y sólo serán 100 unidades.

Sí, en efecto es un gran auto.

Donde creo que estás equivocado es en la parte de que es un carro para presumir, no para estar corriendo en pista, si fuera así, Ford no hubiera invertido tanto en el desarrollo de la suspensión delantera, que es una de las razones por las que se comporta tan bien el carro.

Y 1 ó 3 segundos, si es una marcada diferencia, si no, fijate digamos en una carrera de F1 cuando la diferencia es de 3 seg la distancia que hay entre uno y otro.

Por cierto, quiero un RS

No es un coche para presumir, para eso compra un BMW! Yo tengo un evo IX y te aseguro que la mayoría de las personas no saben que es, por lo que no sirve pa presumir, sino pa correrlo.

MUY buen coche, no le llega al EVO/STI, pero MUY bueno, me gustaría ver una buena comparativa...

Por otro lado, no sabía que lo traerían a Mexico! cuando? cuanto?
