I knw this will offend but i am sorry.. As an African myself I personally wouldnt have a masquerade at my wedding. They will not bring any kind of blessing to anyones wedding. Aside from that beautiful ceremony!
i'm from the Caribbean and i loooooovvvveeee this wedding,, and YES my roots are from Africa and i love my African ppl. i pray that they have a long happy life together. God bless.
i want to know who made her dress or where she purchasednit because im getting married in 6 months and my colors arenthe same.as hers and i would love have this dress
The title is "AFRICAN WEDDING"! Nothing is wrong with the hole mariage. They have the atttires of nigeria, they are all dressed up in bubus but with different origines (east and west africa), some are looking like from south africa, and the special note was the MASQUARADE! For people who knows the african culture, this is a great moment in a traditional celebration when a masquarade is coming out!!!! Really great!! This is really an AFRICAN Wedding (where ever it has been celebrated). Be blessed
@NollywoodRocksCinema Yeah but this is not a Nigerian wedding, so your statement makes no sense. This is african american wedding, I am Nigerian and I know what I am talking about. We have introductions, engagements/traditional wedding, and wedding, we don't celebrate weddings like that. They are wearing Nigerian attire in America but they are not Nigerian, so this is not a Nigerian wedding.
as a west african, i really appreciate the idea of having a west african themed - white wedding! i could tell straight away - nigerian weddings never have people waiting calmly behind barricades!
plus, real masquerades on stilts do not take kindly to cameras, crowds, or women...
In Nigeria We have a Unique Wedding Tradition and Attire,The same Beautiful and Classy Weddings you see in Most Nigerian Movies That's how it is in Real Life regardless if they are in Nigeria or Abroad.
@NollywoodRocksCinema I think it is nice that they are having their african themed wedding but they are not Nigerian or having a Nigerian wedding for sure, it's a beautiful african american wedding but the title is misleading.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You soooo very much. I just finished watching all three parts. Thank you for sharing. I am an African American married for 8 years to a West African. We will renew our vows in two years. Thanks for giving me more ideas to pull from. This wedding was FABULOUS!!
a very nice entertainment but i suppose this is their own invention. which part of Africa are these people from? i am a Ghanaian from West Africa and this is definitely not Ghanaian.
do not be ognorant to that extent, ever since when african americans have had a wedding like this? Africa is a big continent with many colours and weddings are also different within africans depending on where you come from? this is a west African style, musically and the dressing! welldone for valuing you roots guys great stuff!
@Princess70313 you are right we have many things do in wedding in my contry and we have the music it's similair to your guys music , i love itand i love anything african....by the way i am from north africa...viva africa..
@gold9ja why you so angry? flooding the page with silliness. so what they aren't african! does it bother you that much that some mistake this black american couple, (who looked great!! might i add) for being whatever ethnic type of african? who said they were trying to get the nigerian, ghanian, ethiopian or whatever theme? they just want something african and not westernized. you need to take a chill pill because it's not that deep. good grief! but anywho...WONDERFUL WEDDING YOU TWO!!
