You saved me from going crazy!! I was more than frustrated at the TIGHT cables. Luckily, I found your video before I broke a pulley. Good call on leaving the ferrule (green thingy) out until last. It was still a TIGHT fit, but the window is currently working, just before our 25 degrees & snow hits! I was ready to cut 2 turns off each spring, since they were fully compressed, and I needed about 3/16" more to make it work. I know the cables will stretch, but... DANG! Thanks again! Cheers.
Hey, I'm having a really tough time geting the regulator kit! Where did you get it from?? Local parts stores dont have anything, and cant even order it...what should I do?
couple questions: is it usually the regulator? my passenger side window is struggling to open/close and im trying to prepare for this situation.....also, is there a difference between the passenger and driver side regulator?
I had this exact same thing happen to me. Same exact part broke. I have mine all apart at this moment and will be ordering the kit you showed in the video to put it all back together with. It's not too difficult, just takes time.
Thank you so much for this valuable service to the rest of us novice do-it-yourself-ers! I was half-way through this repair before I looked for and found your video. It was just the information (and affirmation!) that I needed!
you superstar , i been looking for a few hours how to remove the door panel to replace the speakers, no doubt then whole video will come in handy in the future
The video was great, saved time and accomplished replacing the window regulator cable assembly with little effort. A great time saver. Thank You Very Much!!!
nice video, but when I go to row my window down it, the cable on the regulator (white wheel in new part) frays the cable...do you know what is causing it? Like its tearing up again and now I have to buy the regulator kit...again. Thanks!
Thank you so much for making this video. There were things that you mentioned that we never would have known about. Of course there is a "special tool" ... there always is. Our special tool was "gentle" persuasion with a little bit of brute force thrown in.
Thanks a lot!!!! I fixed my window!!!

.
all replacement parts should come with installation instructions.
working on vehicles isn't difficult so long as you have the proper tools and clear instructions on how to replace/repair things.
good job on this video.
