    This computer-animated video which we all know is not live footage, looks fake. It looks like he just superimposed a snake on top of kicking legs. Though they each LOOK real enough on their own (even though we all know they aren't real), there's no interaction between them, and the legs keep moving around regardless of the snake.

  • I doubt they thought it was real. Their point was, it LOOKS fake. There's a little thing in fictional works called "suspension of disbelief", which is generally strived for. It means that even though the audience (viewers, readers, whatever) KNOWS that it's not real, they can still enjoy it because it SEEMS real, or at least it's not so obviously fake as this.
