they are not humping, it is how they tear their food, they do not have extremely strong jaws, they pull and rip their food, Komodos are mostly scavengers...but they do hunt what they can catch...Reason they are so big is because they have no predators....

Looong time ago, before it was made into park. No farm inside, they eat grasses and shrubs.

I went there in 2000. Didn't see any buffalo. Plenty of dragons though! Travelled in a boat from Lombok and while we were on the island the crew robbed our stuff out of our bags!!

I stayed in Gili too but didn't get a great feeling from the whole Lombok area.  Lots of attacks/rapes on lone females going on at the time I was there.

I agree, even on Gili Trawangan the locals were not nice. We were a necessary evil. And the morning prayers were terrible if one is a light sleeper.

Bali was great though. The people there couldn't have been more accommodating and sweet.

Yes I loved Bali, beautiful things all around you wherever you went. Loved those little devotional flower things that would appear everywhere every morning.

Sumatra (+ the islands I saw) was pretty excellent too. I have to say, Indonesia was an exceptionally beautiful and fascinating place all round.
