Everytime I hear that song, it's exactly your point I think about. And I'm with you, I want white Christmases and global warming has to be stopped, but what do fluorescent lightbulbs have to do with it? While it's true that conventional lightbulbs waste a lot of energy but that energy comes mostly from nuclear power plants which don't contribute to global warming. You should rather ask people not to buy SUV's or use more public transportation or organize car pools, etc..

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas, But global warming melts the snow. And science is finding The climate is climbing. December's hotter than J. Lo.
