You people need to calm down. They have been listening to the fans and I think their doing a pretty damn good job. I mean going from only a few rally events in dirt 2 to over 60% in dirt 3 sounds like a pretty big step in the right direction. They're trying to make a game for rally enthusiasts AND casual racing gamers. If they make a niche product their not going to get very good profit to make better more rally focused games in the future.

rally games need real stages! i'm fed up with these stages that are like motorways. need some tight twisty stuff like what occurs in real life. also need to make a realistic damage model. if you hit a tree at 60mph you wouldn't be able to just drive off. finally they need to give up the arcadeyness of them. rally isn't meant to be easy! basically what they need to do is make a new and improved RBR. :/ oh and bring colin back into it, after all he is the legend that created the tital. R.I.P Colin

Of all the people I've talked about DiRT 2 with, nobody enjoyed the truck racing more than rallying. They seriously need to cut that shit out.

Also I never finished DiRT 2 because the career mode dragged on with repetitive events taking place on the same stage over and over again. Their last proper rallying game, CMR 05 had something like six or seven stages per country and it took you way longer to actually memorize them and get bored of them. Unlike croatia with it's 20 events on 3 tracks.

there hasn't been a real rally game since RBR. WRC 2010 was a let down.

brought the first dirt cause i thought i would be like the colin mcrae rally in the old day, though still regret buying it... played dirt 2 PIRATE version deleted it after a day, totally suck don't wanna play it even it was free.

come on give us a sim mode like RBR. GT5 done it,,, a mode for casual gamer, pro mode for sim gamer... if u make it right planty sim rally fans would love to buy it.

@btk355 It's actually great when you compare it to Dirt 2. Because the latter, if I recall correctly, had no more than 30% of pure rally (maybe 20%).

So we're in for a treat with those 60%, especially when you have a game like Dirt 3 which will probably have much more tracks than its predecessors.

You want 90% of rally, I want too. But eventually we play what we get.

At least Codemasters delivers some quality products technically, unlike FIA WRC 2010 garbage (even though it has 100% rally)

Hi. Loved the last game, looking forward to this one.

I watched a demo video the other day of a Kinect driving game which featured the ability to alter the camera angle by moving your head.

Personally I want to stick with my force feedback steering wheel, but it would be awesome if Kinect was supported in addition, allowing you to look round / into the corners. Appreciate it may be too late to incorporate something like that into this game.

Another thing , bring back from Colin's 2.0 the mode where we can play rally stages with one controller up to 4 or 6 players. It's really fun when Your friends come over and you can play the same stages one player after another , it was trully a great feature of that game....
