I did the same thing, coming out over AIM to my friend. but it was a guy and after i told him he posted our convo over myspace. i hated him after that but after 2 years i got over it and we became friends again. i still haven't come out to my parents. im asian too and its really difficult because i think my dad is a homophob. @YunJoe93 just remember that even though there will be lots of people that are going to dislike your sexual orientation, there are going to be many people that will like you for it too especially if you are honest and proud of it... it's very refreshing to see openly gay people because they know it's something people will make fun of them for but they know they want to be themselves... never be ashamed cuz you're great just the way you were made
