woh.. this news and video pains me... I hope the person behind the indecent action will be charged for what she/they did... Psychological aspects of the caregivers should be checked too so that these matters would not happen again... Felt sorry for the patient and her family... I do hope nurses nowadays could see this and examine their selves if they really have the heart on caring for people...

This is all true. I know people who are working as nurses for the nursing homes. They're decent people but i can tell you that, from the stories i hear, that not enough is being done to help these people. The patients don't dare to speak up and the abuse continues. Its a terrible cycle.

all most of all the news was reported to the authority in March how come now then showed, and how come no transparency, what was done to investigate and what action were taken against the care home and the 2 workers, cos even if outside i slap someone, he/she will be sued bring bodily harm to the person, how come all these infor is not provided!! also if one nursing home is this way, did the gov did a thorough investigation on all nursing homes, and if so where is the report!!

why would all these happened? ibecos the care home wants to have profit and minimize cost so hiring overseas workers (not even qualified nurses) to do job whereby local nurses need a few years to study, get the skills set and the patience for the job. All these are becos the reminants of the yesteryear government... everything abt profitibility/... so they think you no money is type of treatment liao , if you want better treatment and better environment got the money go upgrade to the more exp
