caps are only for short hair - a lot of people don't understand that ... there is a comb you can buy @ online to highlight more uniformly, instead of random. Its called a highlight or weaving comb. The teeth are different lengths and widths, and depending on how much hair you gather together (thin parts vs thick parts) you can make your highlights look thin/natural or thick chunks.
i lovee this color! I used a semi permanent reddish color about 3-4 months ago you can barely see it unless you look really close in the light. Do you think it would be saffe to use this revlon permanent color in my hair?

I remembered you said u used revlon color in one of ur videos && i was looking for that at sallys and ddnt find it so i got honey blonde from softsheen carson and was excited to see it in ur video lol. Have u had any problems goin lighter when u first started dying?? My hair is so dark i think ima have to go to the salon and get it striped first. (i dyed it light brown, didnt work AT ALL lol, then rinsed it red just to see if it would take now my hair has a reddish tint but i want brown!! lol)
@Desireedavis91 i havent had any problems since lightening my hair... i also used the color on my sisters hair but i used the cap for her...if thats what ur doing i would recommend that u do not color the peices close to the edges of ur hair. it is the weakest . sister had some breakage..only on the edges section, the rest of her hair was fine. her hairstylist told her to only color the top and back not the front side pieces. the softsheen color is made for OUR hair so it lifts the color well.

@dimplezklbr if ur talking aboout the african pride hilite kit... i havent seen it in sallys. sallys is more a commercial hair store so they dont carry alot of "black" haircare products. they are at Walmart, and ur good ole' beauty supply store. let me know if u find it!
Taren just lightened her hair too and I want to too...jump on the bandwagon!! ahah Ill be a copycat, it came out cute. You look good with lighter hair it looks really great with your skintone.
