It's not that hard to find songs on the internet. Do an internet search on a phrase from the lyrics and the word 'lyrics' (in this case, "it's the price you pay for feeling okay" AND lyrics). You'll usually turn up hits that will lead you to the song,
The cars are not as quiet as they should be. You can really hear the tractioin motors and the wheels running on the rails. And the reason why is because the insulation only keeps the weather out but not very good in keeping the underside noise down. You really need is an insulation system that will keep the noise level down on all points of the car. Especailly when going thru tunnels.
WHAT?????? No WAY, man! That's part of the allure of the Underground. Part of the atmosphere, the experience. Hell, I would love it if they had steel grid floors, screen doors and screened windows. I love the sound of the London Underground. Have you ever been there? And if so, what, are you trying to SLEEP on the Underground? (Actually, I fell asleep on it. The clackity-clack rhythm lulled me to sleep once.
One reason I view these videos is to re-live my London trip by memory of the sounds.
Yes, the tubes are driven by people, and yes, it comes through the tunnel pretty loudly and quickly. Loudly depends on whether if its indoors or outdoors (openair stop or tunnel stop)
I "stole" the Piccadilly and Victoria Line clips on this from others of my videos on this site. The Bakerloo Line clip is unique to this clip, although I might post it separately with its original sound sometime.
mind the gap!

I love going underground and just look at all those people around me. But of course, the journey is worth it, too.

The Victoria line is ATO, There is still a driver in the cabin if something happens, and he is also required to start the acceleration process.

I love how the Londoners all wear scarves...even if it's 27-degrees (80-degrees fahrenheit) EVERYONE (I mean EVERYONE) has a scarf on!
