I traveled there a few years ago with my two daughters and had a wonderful vacation. We felt very safe and met many wonderful people. As an American we were not allowed free travel in the country, but hired a private guide and really enjoyed ourselves. I still miss the food! I just wish the US would have great stews available everywhere at lunch time.  So good.
