this is the best recording i have heard. please explain how did you recorded (the mic placement and angles etc.) i got my PCM-M10 but the built-in mic are no where close to what i heard with these mics. Sony Mics in that unit are pure crap for Binaural recording.

I used SP-TFB-2 (Google "Sound Professionals TFB-2") binural microphones.

I agree, there is not enough seperation in the built in microphones on the PCM-M10, however they are useful for other things. I am impressed by the low noise.

Great example, but wouldn't the built in compression of YouTube vid / audio change the true fidelity of the audio? Ps my PCM m10 is in the mail and cannot wait to use it...
