Pyramid head in this film was supposed to represent extreme anger at the townspeople rather than guilt (like in the game) which is why Anna got the nipple twister from hell (pardon the pun). I don't think Anna deserved to be dragged into Alessa's world. She's supposedly 30 years old, meaning she was born around the time that Alessa was burned. That wasn't her fault, she had nothing to do with Alessa's burning or the abuse she suffered. Even if she was born in the fog world, something should have been done to help her, because she's an innocent and deserved a better life
