I was planning on making a mario and sonic game on game maker where they swap worlds. Mario's levels will be the ones in sonic generations, including seaside hill. If I ever make it, could I possibly use this as the song in seaside hill.

It would be amazing to see a "Mario & Sonic" adventure. I think that would be like Generations, featuring Classic Sonic and Classic Mario, along with their modern selves. Act 1 for Classic Sonic, Act 2 for Modern Sonic, the third one for Classic Mario and the last one for Modern Mario. Also with a co-op mode for 4 players with Classic/Modern Sonic and Classic/Modern Mario. Final boss would be playable with the two Super Sonics and the 2 Golden Tanooki Marios against the 2 Eggmans & the 2 Bowsers

Sounds great, except the steel drums section sounds a bit synthetic. Instead of having them play really fast to fill in those long gaps, you could use the gaps to create a more tropical feel.

@FireGXLOL I think that they shoudl do original levels that add memorable elements from past Mario and Sonic games as well as new concepts. Also, Mario would fight the Eggman bosses, Sonic would fight the Bowser bosses, and the final non-super boss for each would be there true arch-enemy. Then, final boss would be Golden Racoon Mario and Super Sonic versus Eggman and Bowser.

@MinusMan561 Or how about "Mario and Sonic: The 3D Platformer using Generations Modern gameplay for Sonic, and Galaxy gameplay for Mario; in which the characters visit old and new levels a la Sonic Generations but also Mario levels, and each with their own act so SSB World 1 Stage 1 - Act 1 Mario, Act 2 Sonic, and Green Hill Act 1 Mario, Act 2 Sonic" That would be better than any video game ever.
