oohh. since I was elementary I'm looking for Flight stewardess.. can I ask?? where is the best school training to apply??? I'm graduated in HIGH SCHOOL in the Philippines. And I studied Bachelor in Pharmacy in 1yr. only. I'm not done for that course because my mom want to stay here in Canada. So I just came last August 1st 2010. @3333sweetie: Well with the airline I fly for, (which is a very well know career) You have to Keep a 90% on all test, which there is a test every two days. We are in training for 8 weeks. you have a training everyday durning those 8 week other then three days. Training is anywhere between 7 to 11 hours a day. (which is not paid) You learn a LOT about safety, aircraft layouts (pickles) CPR, First Aid, AED use, F.A.R.s there is a lot of into to learn in those 8 weeks.

Of course not! As a FA myself - you must be able to evacuate the aircraft within 90 seconds using only half of all exits, having people reaching in the lockers getting their bags and wheelies would mean that it would take an age - in which case could be catastrophic so no!

I worked for three international airlines, based in 6 different countries during my airline career, so I have a pretty good idea of the industry. Training takes about 6 weeks, give or take. Flying used to be fun, but the travel is still interesting. I didn't fly domestic- no interest, personally. If you want to buy your mascara in England, and don't care about working hard, endless sleep deprivation, and family, this may be the job for you.

Good luck! I flew for 3 major international airlines and loved it. International is MUCH better than domestic- better hours, interesting destinations, language and food. Learn a language to boost your chances of getting hired.
