  • What do Progressives want?... We want a just, equitable, and sustainable society, that works for EVERYONE... not just for a few rich, bastards!

  • Progressives also want to disarm the public on average, which to me doesn't seem very Democratic

  • why are there so many pics about palestiene \....it has nothing to do with the audio.

  • The Vatican-Pope-Jesuits-illuminati-NAZIS-CFR run the world. they have all the judges, attorneys, doctors, major corporations, etc. all in their back pocket. bought & paid for, etc. our country is no longer free -we live in tyranny! truth an obscure thing, Oppression & lie is the norm. Were all slaves- our masters, the elite, r at least 50 years ahead of us in knowledge, technology, info., secrets & r using all of it against us!

    Go here:

    truthknowledge. com

Spread it! Time is running out!

  • nobody is gonna do shit until a sheite load of fake million aire credit mother fukers are broke, that be saweet, but then the poor sewer drinking mother fukers would all be toothless.Any who then we can march and get tazed and peppered yeehaw.nothing you can do,nothing you will do and thats the real thing,go drink some coke like in the deppression.

  • advocate - actually ppl would NOT starve w/out oil/fossil fuel. ask urslef what did we do B4 mass production/money etc(capitalism). We were all self sustaining bcoz we were subsistant farmers. we all provided for our families and community locally.

Also one cannot agreee on all matters with someone else.

  • You've got to be kidding. There were mass famines each and every year. 90% of Children died before they were 5.

  • Please don't be entrapped in the false left-right paradigm, to the point where you only listen to socialist ideas. I suggest you focus on what the word "conservative" use to mean, and appropriately use the word neocon when referring to todays politicians. Please open your minds and study the founding father's philosophies.

  • there are 3 types of conservatives...xenophobes, greedheads and religionists...and each can be differentiated by the deadly sin they primarily practice

  • As a Libertarian, I can't help but be amazed by the "progressives" out there. Has the 1984 doublespeak in politics today confounded you to such a degree? 'Progressive' as you average folks may be, you really have A LOT in common with constitutional conservatives like myself. The fact of the matter is your democrat party leaders are JUST AS corrupt as the neocon establishment in Washington. Today the differences b/w the Dems and Reps are minimal, and both serve the corporate and banking elite.

  • the video for this film is from the awesome documentary "the fourth world war". Watch it now! I bet its even posted on youtube.

  • conservatives in disguise like Hillary Clinton are using the term progressive to describe themselves. Find a new word!

  • And 'Liberals' idem dito.

  • Hillary is not a 'conservative' in the least bit at all. Suggesting that she is indicates you have the political and philosophical IQ of a two year old. I've just about had it with all the doublespeak.. Political labels are thrown around so much people don't know up from f**king down. Look up what the words "used" to mean please...

  • There is no up or down in the universe, only in and out :-)

  • Progressives want You to know you have the power to give yourself health care. Ask not what Hillary can do for you....

Ask what you can do for yourself by following Linus Pauling & taking 2 grams of vitamin C hourly.

We the People are more likely to get a better health care system if we do what the First Amendment says: take charge of society by spreading ideas.

    What is your blood type?

  • your body isnt capable of absorbing more than 250 milligrams of vitamin c at a time. not that much was known about nutrition therapy in Pauling's day. keep up on the reading guy.

  • Parenti is a Marxist butcher. What kind of fuck expects us to be outraged by capitalist slaughter when he himself ignores Marxist slaughter? PLEASE

  • would you please elaborate? it appears to me that you're comparing a man/dictator who slaughtered with an economic paradigm that is oppressive by its very nature (slaughters). that would be an illogical argument. blessings...

  • What he's talking about is that Parenti refuses to exaggerate the crimes of Stalin and Milosevic. He also puts them in context-- one that Americans don't often hear. He just puts them into context, and he gets called all sorts of names. The wikipedia entry on Dr. Parenti is just horrible.

  • Parenti has killed no one. He doesn't ignore Stalin's crimes or those of Milosevic. He doesn't exaggerate them! That's what you don't understand. He does talk about what Stalin did, but he puts it in context. If you don't believe me, read what he actually wrote about Stalin in Blackshirts and Reds. I know you won't, because you want to call names.

  • Remember Churchill and Stalin's fingers. He really tried to screw Stalin.

  • you guys are missing the point, lawrence is saying that ignoring something makes you a butcher, which is obviously true.

  • He doesn't ignore it. He actually tells the truth about it. You might not agree with it, but he explains why the Stalin purges and Reign of Terror happened, and he explains why Yugoslavia fell apart into a civil war, and how we selectively choose which atrocities we wish to pay attention to. Read his books on those subjects. He hardly ignores them.

  • yeah, that was a joke, and i thought it was quite funny.

  • a just and soulful man

  • yea, parenti knows his stuff, i think he is better balanced than chomsky and also proffers some radical solutions

  • How do you mean "better balanced"? I think Parenti offers real solutions, while Chomsky won't support anything that doesn't resemble the Utopia he has created in his head. I also think he's more clear on the necessity of strategic voting. If that's what you mean by better-balanced, then I certainly agree!

  • what i mean by "better balanced" is that Parenti seems to argue with a nice style. He voices the first premise of his argument, presents the opposition's arguement, and then attempts to get the audience to see his side. I like how he doesnt just state things, he backs them up with proper factual info and logic!!

  • Excellent.

  • He lets the right-wingers hang themselves. He does this in all of his writings--rather skillfully.

  • chomsky repeatedly says that its not up to him to come up with a plan for the future, its up to all people, he therefore sticks to the topic at hand.

  • well said

  • I have read and listened to Chomsky, but I personally like Parenti better.

  • I do too. He offers a good critique of Chomsky, and he offers solutions. I think he's closer to the street than Chomsky is.

  • I've listened to all of these commentaries before, but this is my favorite one. He has a whole chapter on this in Against Empire.
