i gotta be honest. when i heard about this movie and that michael jai white was behind it, i was hesitant to see it because i'd seen him in so many serious roles like universal soldier, and spawn, and dark knight, and i wasn't sure if he could pull off a blaxploitation homage/spoof the way i would want to see it, but that movie IS SO FUNNY! it definitely proved me wrong and showed MJW's versatility.

Black Dynamite is hilarious...it brings Rudi Ray Moore, Jim Kelly, Fred Williamson, rolled up with some Pam Grier and Gloria Hendry...funny from beginning to end a must-see

That Pam Grier was a real foxy mama even 20 years after those films I mostly grew up in the 80's but seen a lot of 60's and 70's flims and shows dudes .

It was scheduled for September 4, but now the web site says December 4. I heard that they might put it off because of some test screening results, so I guess it's December now. IMDB says September 4, but the BD web site is saying December now. USA today said September 4 a month or two ago, but it looks like it's been moved back to December.
