I know this is old and such but that SWAT Op around 1:41 is ONE DUMB ASS, you NEVER!!! look aorund a corner with your fat head, that's a easy way to get killed in one shoot. He should of used a mirror or something, they teach you such thing in SWAT school or in the army -_- surpriced that some swat members still are living

This is circa 1989. Tactics have changed a lot I'm sure. Having failed to realize this even though it was written in the description and is blatantly obvious by the quality of the production, vehicles, and styles of clothing and hair cuts (keep in mind you're also taught attention to detail in SWAT school and in the military) you have made yourself look like an utter fool.

Hi Goodbear31...thanks for the nice comments. I am actually the photographer who shot the video with SWAT. Way back then we had news directors that would give us the time it takes to put together these great stories and the police department was much more open about letting the media in. Unfortunately things change so I don't think you'll see anything like this again in Columbus unless major changes are made again. The SWAT guys are as great as ever though!

well since this was not a raid they take their time so as not to hurt anybody. This apt. was so small that if they used a shot gun it could have gone right through the wall and killed someone else and look at some of the other video if you want to see a raid.

I can't really answer for the SWAT team but I believe that they used hand guns because they knew the apartment was very small and a shot gun would have been dangerous.

Yea..this is really old eq662a!!! I think 1989! They did use flash bangs and busted doors down in other cases..but they new they had a nut case in this apt. Thanks for the comment.

The last time I checked, SWAT teams storm in the building with MP5 Sub-Machine guns, NOT with the pistols ONLY.

Also don't forget to bend your knees lower and go more in the smoother flow.

If you look at the date on this video which I put in the description you will see it was shot in 1989. I'm sure they've learned a few things since then and of course things have gotten a lot more dangerous since then. But I do appreciate honesty. So thank you for your comment.
