@COWAB25 I disagreed with most of your choices, but the best movies are written inside our own heads. Angelina has to be Lanfear but Rand should be an unknown actor, known for nothing else. One other tip, the boy who plays caffrey in white collar would be a much better matt.

Not bad actually, better than expected going by the likes/dislikes rating. The only ones I thought that don't meet the characters descriptions are Rand, Egwene, Siuan (needs blue eyes), and Cadsuane.

Moiraine, Elaida (I HATE HER), Elayne, and Lanfear all had perfect choices though. Good job!

I think your casting ideas are interesting. I think my main cirticism is that your cast is too old. Rand and party are all 16-17 years old, with Min being 19 and Nyneave being around 26. Many of the people you picked (especially the female leads) are all over 30. Scarlett Johanson would be a better Moraine, Natalie Portman may make a better Morgase than Elayne. I also think that many of the female leads don't exhibit the right personalities to play the roles you've given them.

the trouble is that the books make out all of the Aes Sedai to look be middle aged at most, but act very old, and are usually rediculously pretty. Plus most of the main characters are actually supposed to be like 20. (Rand, Mat, Perrin, Egwene, Elayne, Aviendha.) And all 14 books are supposed to happen over 2 years! Aging nightmare. Way harder to cast than Game of Thrones, plus the budget. And how some people can see weaves but others can't what about the audience?

ahm honestly not bad at all man! I'm okay with nearly all of your choices (which is good if you ask me ^^) though imho:

-Moiraine and Lan... I don't know, that couple I found weird a lil... young too

-Verin looks too old/fat to me, even if she's the "geek" type of Aes Sedai

-Lanfear please someone less vulgar, more beautiful, not just "hot"

-Aviendha seems decent but I don't know how she would turn out with the different color of the skin and red hair

Wow was this thought out at all? Most of the picks were just off the wall nuts. Have you seen these actors in any previous roles? Most of them are type cast for a reason.. Two that really bothered me was Rand and Lan. Sure lets make the lead a chubby short dude would has never been cast or played a tough main lead. and Lan... wow, Val as Lan the stony faced warder, that shows 0 emotion 99.9% of the time.. That's almost as bad as russel crowe as Lan.

2. Val Kilmer as Lan? Kilmer played Batman and wasn't able to pull off a stone-like expression with a mask on.

3. Angelina Jolie as Lanfear? Other than being predictably cliche, I don't think she has the chops for it. Nor is she attractive enough.

But I do agree with some choices. Kathy Bates, Kate Beckinsale, Lucy Lawless and Craig Horner are good choices.

Rachel Weisz for Moiraine FTW!!! I've always thought she's perfect to play her and I'm always pleased when someone think the same :D
