This only changes your local IP address, for LAN. The one you have to change is your foreign IP address to get around IP bans.

@JellyBird12 you can always try though. press windows key and r and in the run dialog type cmd to get the command prompt . inside the command promt type ipconfig and hit enter. and then u can enter all of the commands that were shown in the video withought having to make a .bat file. and if u r not using a router then u will automatically be assigned a new ip by the company who provides u with intenet.

@JellyBird12 if u are using a router then u can only get a new ip adress if the company uses dynamic ip adresses ( u will have to check with your internet company) . if u have dynamic ip adresses restarting the router will give u a new ip adress and u can bypass the megavideo timer!!! ( my company says that they have dynamic ips but restarting the modem doesnt change my ip ( those lying *****) ) . Any ways the above two methods will only be able to get u a new local ip adress if they work!

maybe this is a solution: go to Network connections in the configuration panel. then ull see some internet connections, and one (or more) sould be inactive. just doubleclick on it and active it.

That's because all release and renew does is change your LAN ip address aka the numbers your computer uses to connect to your router/modem, doesn't change the physical address of your computer which is what they track. Just an FYI.
