It would be interesting to find out when this song was first played by the Quo, I heard it played as a single acoustic guitar version in 1971 at the Wakes Arms Pub at the Epping roundabout.

I'm fairly confident of the date as I left the UK in Jan 1972 to live in Australia when I was 19..... so it was either very late 1970 or 71
