  • I see she grew up and lost the nose ring.

  • She's paid a lot of dues before she got to this point. You have no idea. She's a seasoned pro and a great artist.

  • all these "success" measuring comments, don't know nuthin about the industry, or the Blues. She is a blues musician, do the math.

  • Delaney and Bonnie, whom I love, had a hit with this song. but it was written and recorded by Dave Mason first.

  • A Delany And Bonnie classic Craig.

  • Joan is so good she can sing ANY genre' with conviction. She's amazing. Her voice can be gritty or sweet.. whatever she chooses. Her bass player is SICK! Great performance! Loved it!

  • Sexy woman. "bi-sexuallity" kinda detracts from that. Great Cover of a Great Dave Mason tune. I Love her bassist. She's good (and Hot)...

  • she's a sneaky one..another sheryl crowe/shania twain etc..

  • è fantastica,fa sognare..l ho sentita casualmente alla radio e mi sono emozionata da morire♫ ♬♫ ♬♫ ♬

  • She's got skills and I like her. Bravo!

  • Happy New Year 2010 to all

  • I love Joan-can't believe she has switched genres so much-does not sound like the same woman even-her voice sounds rustic and soulful here vs. contemporary.

  • A good singer but she never quite knew what direction to take. Shes done rock, soul, blues and country well but never chose to specialize on one style. She's all over the place and this damaged her career,

  • I guess she did what she liked to do and she earned enough money to live comfortably. That is what I call "successful person".

  • She does what she wants to do.

Some musicians don't have to "sell out."

that's not damage to her career, that's control of her career.

  • @dlagrua She's wealthy enough to live comfortably, and she plays mostly small relaxed venues...I'd say she's got it made.

  • That is great Slimjim, the thought I could give you a moment of smiling makes me feel good too.

    greetz from Holland.

  • This is a late reaction, but I only came across this vid richt now.

Your story is so sweet and made me smile.

    Greetz from a dutch lady....

  • Ivan Neville on keys.

    wow, she's just perfect.

    PEACE

  • everything she does she makes her own. no one does covers like her. there again she never got that defining original song. Great artist.

  • Oh, no, she had a great defining album - check out Relish, it is just perfection!

  • god, are there any women out there like her????? She's smashing. Can you write or something if you're out there.....LOL

  • Joan Osborne: real woman, real music. She gives me great hope and joy. I admire her so much!

I highly recommend both her recent albums, "How Sweet It Is" and "Breakfast in Bed."

  • That's the great Art Neville on keys.

  • lovely lady. Great Dave Mason Tune.

  • Sorry for the typo....meant to say Louisville.

  • JOAN IS A GODDESS, THE MIX SUCKS

  • Another great cover by Joan.

I actually got to see Bonnie And Delaney And Friends (Eric Clapton being one of the friends) perform this song when they opened for Blind Faith.

  • I think Bonnie would like this cover. Thanks.

  • Great performance. The sound mix is to biased towards the bass though, I can barely hear the keyboardist and the guitar comes through weak.

  • Hometown Girl.....Louisville, Kentucky Go Joan!

  • Too bad she could'nt get a break on the "Louisville Music Scene" This city does nothing to support the great wealth of talent that can be found here. This city is loaded with great singers and songwriters, more so than Nashville, but very few in Loisville seem to recognize the fact. Joan found her niche in New York City and never looked back. Congratulations on your career Joan Osborne. You are a remarkable talent.

  • Joan Osborne is a great talent. Loved her singing with the Funk Brothers. Pretty darned good here too. Can't go wrong with this classic song.

  • Oooooo I love this Woman!

  • Very good! Song was originally by Dave Mason but has been covered by the likes of Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Delaney and Bonnie ...

Thanks for uploading the vid, derekific :D

  • Yeah, me too but this ain't a bad cover.

  • Persoally I like the original of this song done by Delaney and Bonnie!
