  • How many calories does this burn?????

  • @thegrazymiranda It depends on how intensely you work out but I don't think it burns that many calories. (but it does work great!) XO

  • Your beautiful

  • Help I am 5'5 and 190 pounds. 15 yrs old.

I dunno how I got like this but I need it to stop. Will eating less and working little by little help me lose some weight?

  • @youngmoneyleo305 Try eating smaller healthy snacks/meals throughout the day to help boost your metabolism. Eat more raw foods and give up the junk like sodas and salty snacks. Eat more lean protein and less bread. Wheat gluten makes fat stick to your body and stay there. Increase your exercise and sleep more. When you're sleeping you're not eating:o) XO Carolyn

  • Stfu and show us

  • if you responded to me it would help alot .....i am in a wheelchair and i cant move my lower body ..i want to do sit ups in bed and i want to know it if actually works on my abs

  • @lilrebel213 In order for any ab crunches/exercises to work, you must be able to isolate your abs. If you can do that, this will work for you. Of course, you can also work on your abs when you're sitting by isolating your ab muscles and holding it/tightening it. Hope this helps! XO Carolyn

  • no offense but your hands really annoyed me in this video why move your hands i just think that was really weird O.o

  • @2010MissPortugal I am Gemini and am of 'the hands'. Also, I am a massage therapist and cosmetologist, in which I use my hands. Hope this gives you some insight:o) XO

  • Thank you for the video on this ab work out!!! Because of this video I've subbed to you... I'm trying to get in shape for 2 different costumes that I'm warring to an anime convention in the middle of September. The costumes I'm wearing to said convention both expose my abdomen. (One of is shirtless with a pair of cargo pants and a temporarily tattoo on the chest. The other has a sort of Disney's Aladdin theme to it.) This workout is just what i needed to get in shape by then. Again thank you!!!

  • you talk for 47893573489minutes.

  • @b3thknee Just call me chatty Cathy if you like:o)

  • What Kind Of Dog Is That.?(:

  • @MegaChumm Ruff is a Maltese:o) He's a real sweetie pie too! I had never had a small dog before and I absolutely love it! They are so personable and he sleeps in my bed every night, without hogging it. lol XO Carolyn

  • this is a really good workout also used in pilates, and i like the bed idea more than a mat, but do you have any advice for a bad neck? i can't hold my head up like that without pain but i know its a better workout with it up

  • @hoofgirl31 That is a real problem. Have you tried massaging your neck? I am planning a neck pain video asap... but when I get neck pain, I either rub it myself or use ice. Ice is the best protocol for neck pain. Do you have any cervical vertebrae problems?

  • Wow I love this! I've just started trying to get in shape two weeks ago and it's been difficult with all my uni work to do anything outside of my room. This is one of the most useful videos I've come across so far :D THANK YOU! And you look amazing :3

  • @HamCatFace I'm so glad this helped you! My bedroom is my 'office' so I am in here a lot! I do a lot of exercises here, including weight lifting. lol Have a blessed day! XO Carolyn

  • when do you start seeing results

  • @souljagirl059 Depends on factors like what kind of shape you're in and how many times a week you work out:o) Knowwhatimean? Good luck!

  • So here I am after 2 weeks and I can't believe the results!! Not only have I lost 5 pounds, I can now see the outline of my abdomen. I haven't seen that in 7 years. Thank Carolyn!!

  • @WEEVIL4SURE That is so cool! You are doing a great job! You should feel very proud of yourself!!! XO Carolyn

  • You KNOW you're a lazy ass when you're doing this workout.. LOL!

  • @myshel988 Making your back comfortable is not necessarily being lazy. Its using precautions so you can strengthen your abs without hurting you back. XO Carolyn

  • Thank you so much for the tip. As soon as I saw this video, I tried it out and I really felt it. I'm going to try to do this everyday!

  • @WEEVIL4SURE I have also started doing my ab workouts again. (Now that I can shed some of my heavy winter clothes!) I can really feel the burn and it feels so good! Best of luck! XO Carolyn

  • I don't care how old you are, you look great! And your doggie's so cute, I love how he doesn't care about being filmed hahaha :D I'll try this workout at home! Thank you!

  • @johdirockette Thanks sweetie! I just started doing my ab workouts again to help get me in shape for the summer! After Christmas goodies and all this cold weather keeping me inside, I really need it! XO Carolyn

  • HEYY we have the exact same 2 body pillows!!!!!!!!!!

  • you give great advice and make us all relise we down have to spend loads going to the gym, i now do a number of stretches i've learnt from you, and i can tell everyone who watches this, they work, stick with it.

  • @thehomefront Thanks! XO Carolyn

  • how old are you??

  • @evac2009 Very very old!

  • @notaditdot how olds that ? you look mid 30's early 40's

  • working out like that on my bed KILLS my back :( i think i would have to buy a yoga mat to do ab exercises on the floor.

  • @RachelxRenee Sorry it doesn't work well for you. It works great for me though:o) (You shouldn't move your body much at all... just tighten your abs and move minimally. ) XO Carolyn

  • haha u cut your self off at 5:28! lol but this is a great video!!!!!! im really going to try it.

  • woo its hard to keep up with you!

  • cool

  • This exercise make me sweat so much! It's great I can do it in my own house. Thank you!

  • @seiko1965 I've always had some back pain, and working out on my bed, fixes all the back pain issue. Glad it works well for you too! XO Carolyn

  • thanks alot my ninja

  • THANX IMA TRY IT RYT NW!!!

  • nice vids and you look stunning !

  • aww i love how your dog sits there and watches. my cat is doing the same thing with me right now lol

  • @SurferShan Yeah, my animals are used to my wild and whacky antics:o)

So cool that your kitty does that too:o)

  • I think the reason why you guys back hurt is because your stomach may be putting a toll on your back during the day, also the floor adds the pain because not only is the floor hard but the floor makes the burn come quicker because the floor does not form to the curves in your body appose to the bed

  • That's so true. Thanks for your comment. Everyone needs to develop their abs to help with back pain!

  • Thanks for the video!! nice dog :) I will try to do this..aa my back hurts sometimes, i will try your other video too, the one with the "lower back relive pain"..thanks

  • Umm... I am a southern gal and that's what we do. I am also a woman and all women talk! Stay sweet. Carolyn

  • will this make my tummy flat if i do them 2 times a day??? . . . .i work and go to skool so it will be hard but im trying to get a flat tummy real bad

  • Your muscles need to rest in between workouts, so I would recommend starting out with once a day and once you have (re) trained your muscles, work up to twice a day. Your muscle soreness will lead the way. Best wishes, Carolyn

  • really simple...so i if i did 50 of these a day5 days a week how long do you think it will take me to loose 10pounds(with a balanced diet)

  • Gee sweetheart, I'm not sure? Wished I could be more helpful. Everyone loses weight differently so it would be easy for me to predict this for myself, but not so easy to predict this for you. Best of luck!

  • thank you so much for this, i have a spin problem and cant really do anything on the floor so this really help :D.

  • You are so welcome! XO Carolyn

  • Hiya Carolyn, Ive Got Two Things To Ask You...:

What Type Of Dog Is That?

AND Can You Do A Video Of All Your Pets? Including Ruff? Thank You...

    Great Show! Raychel

  • Thanks Raychel! I have often thought to do a video about my animals only. Most of my cats are rescue cats. My dog Ruff is a Maltese but I cut his hair short. (the hairdresser in me... lol) We live out in the country and he loves to jump in the ditches and get dirty. No way to keep his hair long where I live. Its also very hot in the summer for him. I love all animals and should have been named Ellie Mae. lol Have a wonderful day! Carolyn

  • Wow this is great :D Im getting ready for my martial arts lessons again xD and i really need too workout my abs since allmost all the hits go too my chest or ab area (i go too kyokushin karate btw :D) Thanks again, btw nice dog :)

  • That's fantastic! I wish you much luck! Yes, my animals are great aren't they? I am so lucky to have them all! XO Carolyn

  • This is GREAT!!! Nice Puppy.

  • Thanks! Unfortunately, Ruff isn't a puppy anymore. He's actually almost 9 years old. (Born September 15, 2000.) He and my son Lars share the same birthday so it's easy to keep track of! lol (10 years apart)

  • could you give me any advice for someone who dosent really work out, but really wants to start. there are alot of things id like to change.

  • I'd start out with a few exercises everyday. Lift some weights or be sure to take a walk at least every other day for 10 minutes or so and work up from there. (late afternoon or early morning in the summer is best) Strength training is great. It combines cardiovascular exercise with weight bearing exercise. Its like getting two for one! Reverse squats while lifting weights works well. Also I recommend exercise balls. They typically come with exercises you can do with it. Hope this helps! Carolyn

  • wow no wonder you look so good. good work out! keep up the videos

  • A complement, it can be joined to pedalling a virtual bicycle in the air. Any kind of movement and effort we do can add quality of life and good health. "Mens sana in corpore sano".

  • Again such a complete and easy gym (in bed).

your cats and dog are so calm, are they part of this therapy? Thanks

  • Absolutely! They love their mommy! lol I agree with your other comment (below) too! Anytime we can squeeze in a few exercises, is fantastic! Have a great day! Carolyn

  • Thanks a lot! That really helped and is definitely what I was looking for. Your dog is adorable, he must follow you everywhere! He stayed with you the whole time.

  • I need to do more of these myself. lol My doggy is my honey boy. He follows me around like a kid and is so sweet. His name is Ruff. Have a great weekend! XO Carolyn

  • i love your dog!!!!

  • I kinda like him too! I call him my 'honey boy'! lol

  • Guys can do this to right? do guys have to do more reps with this exercise?

  • Absolutely! I had one young man write me through youtube. He started out only being able to do a few, and now he's up to 100 a day. He says it's working great for him!

  • oh good! cuz i recently bought P90X and it works great but i want more results fast

  • P90X isn't working good for you? Ah, well. I hope this works. I've recently picked it up as well! This, not P90X!

  • no it is it works great but i wanna add onto it for fast results

  • a hair cut would take off 10 years

  • I watched this again and just did the ab routine. My legs are about shot, so I laid on the floor, with legs held just above a chair seat. Pointing my feet, per you, does help me to force to relax my thighs, otherwise they're too tense, when my abs should be doing the work. And yes, I have now noticed, you do smile at the end! MeaCulpa.

  • Hi Carolyn, great exercise tips. I tend to work out in the garage lately, with a thick pad on the bench and the floor, it's cheaper than the gym. By the way, I've noticed on your videos, that you almost never smile. Come on, I know you're enjoying life, please, show it! And, keep up the good work.

  • Smiling and videos. Radical concept! lol I am usually playing beat the 10 minute clock on most of my videos. I do always smile in the end of them though, in case you hadn't noticed. I am kinda a serious type person when I'm working and I do consider my vids as an extension of work:... But I will smile now! :o)

  • This workout sure beats going to a gym!btw the last time I had a gym membership was back at university and my roommate and I went four times in a year!

  • Hi lady! Yeah, I use my house furniture to work out and do all sorts of strength training with water bottles, etc. Anything I have on hand. I used to be a gym member too (20 years ago) and I loved it. I haven't had the money in years though. Who does? lol Love ya, Carolyn

  • Hi Carolyn! :) No dealing with the travel to the gym! LOL! It was a pain, because the gym was once at the Stonestown Mall in San Francisco - crowded! I have a post in the backyard - holding up the houseLOL! I use it for exercise.Lova Ya! :) Me The Lady Who Needs Exercise! LOL!

  • Hi,

you look absolutely fabulous for your age, you remind me of my mom, because she is always doing these things to take care of her body just like you do ! I love love love your videos and your puppy ! Love, from the Netherlands xxx

  • Hi! Thanks sweetie. I get that a lot. (that I remind you of mum!) That is the best compliment of them all! My doggy doesn't look like it, but he will be 9 years old this year! I will be 50 in just a few months. My how time flies! XO Carolyn

  • Love your Puppyy!!!!!

    It's reallyyy cuutteeeeee..!!!

    Luv your workout 2..

  • I kinda love him too! lol Actually, Ruff is 8 years old. Its hard to believe. He is a Maltese and will always be my little puppy! He sleeps with me and follows me around the house all the time. I can't imagine my life without him! You are very kind:o)

  • This is so cool

im a 16 year old guy who is looking around for a easy workout that is also easy on my back too

and i gave this a go after i watched the video and i felt the burn :D its actually a very good work out i enjoy it

Im planning on doing 50 before i go to school and 100 before i sleep now :D

THANKS FOR THE VIDEO VERY HELPFUL !! :D

  • You are welcome! Ah man. Your abs are gonna hurt! lol I've had back problems off and on all my adult life. I bought a new mattress and am having no more problems. Sometimes it's not your back, but your bed instead! I started doing my ab workout in bed before I got a new one. I like knowing that I am not injuring my back plus you don't have to buy any equipment that just sits around and isn't used. Good luck on your abs!

  • ahh! you are so helpful! i'm 15, (i commented another video a few minutes ago) and i'm definitely trying this!!

    thank you so so much!

  • i love your videos but can u do a video on ur thighs and legs

  • I sure can! Mine need a work out too!

  • this is great but could you do a video to work out the legs...that's my problem area :S

i love your videos, thank you for posting :D

  • you look like your 23 years old

  • Thanks for the tip!

  • I like your little dog.:-)

  • I kinda like him too! lol He's a Maltese and his name is Ruff. He loves his mommy and is a real sweety pie. He also stays beside me, no matter what! Ruff also thinks he's a cat by now. I have 5 rescue kitties who are all larger than he is, but they all get along great! Have a fantastic day!

  • i'm glad your back! I really missed your videos!

  • Thanks sweety pie. Its good to be back! XO Carolyn

  • thankyou
