He is not reading he is naming objects on the page by looking at the pictures. Reading is when you READ text with no pictures. LOL He is smart, but he is not reading! I think it is average for a 14 month old to be able to point out things and name them. Like "Kitty" and "Mom" or "Dad" if they see them.
you are right memem i dont think children this age should be pressured they should be left alone to have fun and stuff the stress will show its effects later on i bet their BABIES
