The Fraggles are coming back to TV in the US, courtesy of The Hub-- hubworld.com/fraggle-rock/shows/fraggle-rock --every day at 8:30 am ET/7:30 am CT, whilst the comics create new adventures, the forthcoming feature film remains in production development, series DVDs sell like hot cakes, and Red herself is brought out of the rock by her Muppeteer Karen Prell for promotional appearances (ex: Comic Con 2008, Fraggle Holiday 2009, Free Comic Book Day 2010, et al).

This opening is way better than the U.S one.

@damienreturns I disagree. The US opening is way better than this one.

@damienreturns Although I gotta admit, I prefer Captain feeding Sprocket some food in this intro rather than playing chess with Sprocket looking on.

@damienreturns agreed!

I kinda like the UK intro better than the U.S. one. It's a little longer, but the music has a better opening.

I'm from the US, and I want to see how the Doc&Sprocket scenes look. Can you please upload a compilation of those?

You cut off the TVS ident, HERESY!

The person who uploaded this did not cut off the TVS logo, this is how episodes of the second series appeared on the UK DVD releases.
Sometimes, the opening ITV logos were inserted into programmes on broadcast and didn't always appear as part of the master tapes during this period.
This was often the case where shows were produced or co-produced by independent production companies.
But it is sad that the majority of the UK version is missing, I do hope they turn up again soon!
