Yes! :) you are able to use DVD+R. Both formats work in pretty much the exact same. The are apparently some minor advantages to +R which i have yet to see. I usually stick to DVD-R for the main reason that they are usually cheaper.

If anyone would like to elaborate on the differences to DVD-R/DVD+R be my guest.

you can add as many films as you want to a dvd as long as it can hold it. If you put in your disk before burning and the start to convert it will tell you if i can't fit i believe. But i have managed to fit a whole series of family guy on one 4.7 disk O_o

Hey, Its really simple don't worry. You add the videos normally by using the green "+" icon. Once each video has been selected and is in the main white space, they should each have the "+" beside each video to change any settings needed such as name in menu etc.

From here you could just click convert and away you go but i would advise setting up a menu. on the top selection "DVD options" expand it by pressing the + and you will get the menu and DVD properties.

From here you can change the disk name etc. If you want to use a menu select a template. i always use the "minimal, most simple" menu as it saves on space. once you have done that check the options you want, i always check the "return to title menu after....". Uncheck the skip root menu as your videos will just play without displaying the menu first

once the dvd has finsihed converting it wil ask you for a dvd to put in and burn. if not, you can burn the movie later by loading up the program again and in the actions drop down click "burn a previously saved file" or somehing like that. It will be in your convertxtodvd folder. normally my documents.

Then finally click the video ts folder. this will load the project and burn the dvd

hey just wonderin (like 1usefulboy) why my burned dvds arent working on my dvd player. i have dwld 3 diff copys of the same movie but its not workin. tho it does work in my xbox. i notice that the movies have dvdrip.xvid would this xvid have anything to do with my prob? plz help!

As i replied to you in email. Please check that the actual video file is fine. Convertxtodvd will never burn anything if there is the slightest of problems with burning. Sounds to me like a video issue.

Always check the videos when downloading for quality and audio first before burning. Saves dvd's and time

I haven't had a single problem with my coverts/burns using convertxtodvd. I make sure i update when theres a new update etc. I have burned over 100 dvds and never once had a problem like an error or bad burn.

I think the key thing is;

1. making sure the actual video is good

2. making sure all settings are set appropriatly

I believe you can set it to play one title after the other in the drop down sections.

In the + DVD Options drop down when you upload a video. there is a box to tick that says "Play titles one after the other".

Haha yeah it is pretty funky. I was using XP as the OS but with Vista inspirat [A theme pretty much] with a Mac background. I am using Windows 7 though now and will be making some more videos very soon :)

Sorry bud but there aren't many. the free ones that are out there convert very badly and the quality is awful. I've tried alot of free ones for my videos on my phone. i ended up just downloading one.

the best one i have found for this is "WinAvi". very simple to use and converts many different file types. unfortunatly you it isn't free.

But if you look at my channel i have another video on how to download anything for free. Very useful.

you could but it wouldn't play on a normal dvd player. it has to be dvd format.

To get the best quality make sure you tweak the video size settings found through the "+" in the navigation menu. Also, try not to burn the disk at a high speed, lower the speed and increase the quality.

Of course it also depends on the quality of the .avi to start with
