the lunars had it pretty easy before the usurptation, they let the solars have the rule while most of them just lounged around with cushy bodyguard/ black ops/ secret service jobs that they nearly never had to do cause the solars ran things so well before the great curse set in

And let's not forget that those closest to the Solars suffered the worst when the Madness set in... Read up on Desus and Lillith. Do you have any idea the amount of damage it takes to leave lasting marks on a Lunar? Let alone a Lunar who was a renown warrior in the Deliberative of the First Age.

I wish they would make an exalted movie, it is not as if they don't have the technology or visual effects. Hell, they could do one on the Usurpation. It'd be sweet seeing Lilith (after she learned Prismatic Arrangement of Creation Style, combined with Relentless Lunar Fury) and Chejop Kejak fight or something similar.  Also, it'd be cool just to see Desus beat the piss out of something with that pimp cane of his, despite how much of an asshole he is.

Solars are cool, but I actually prefer the Lunars in second edition. Ma-Ha-Suchi was an absolute pimp before the Usurpation and don't even get me started with Lilith. The damn Solars just seem like arrogant pricks, even in their return, while the Lunars fought tooth and nail (literally) for everything they have. I find their solar bonds almost poeticly tragic and it makes them all the more alluring.

True, Lunars are the coolest Exalted type. I'd go Lunars, Solars, Dragonblooded, Abyssals, Infernals, Siderals. I don't know enough about the Alchemicals to place them.

Are you guys kidding me? Lunars are SO boring! There's so little variation possible with their theme. They're protectors, or they're upset that they had to be in the First Age. Solars can be ANYTHING. Plus they have better charms, and a better magical material.
