the cub is obviously used to this very human oriented proceedure ...the cub is so willing to cooperate yet he's moved anyways

I thought the trend of zoos is to make the environment as natural as possible... I'm at a loss for words ...forgive me mrpenta for making this comment ...you know I really appreciate your sharing of videos of these precious pandas but what is going on at this zoo ...the bottle feeding is such a human contrivance

@gaiagale I heard the half of Panda babies were born as twins at their birth and the natural environment, mother Panda nurse only one of them. In the zoo the both twins babies are nursed alternately. Because the amount of Panda milk of mother is for only one baby, the twins Panda have to compensate the milk which make same component of mother Panda milk. Well, I understand what you mentioned. They are with their mother, and Rauhin nurse their children. Thank you for your comment!

@gaiagale well I think you have a point, but the thing is that without this human intervention they probably would not survive...the idea of all this is to increase their numbers...that can't happend without a contrived effort.

@stratfordny yes ...but there is purposeful intervention and there is exploitive intervention ...there is lots of research evidence that support it is healthier for the panda cubs to actively engage in the foraging for food process ...and in the cubs choosing their own time and place as much as possible

I love how you can tell his sense of awareness of what is going on..sometimes when you see them with people that handle them it seems that they don't really react to being handled as long as they are eating..or when people who visit put them on their lap.. they are growing so much..
