  • omg i cant watch this any more gross

  • i got my apendix removed on wednesday

    ouch that hurt

  • @hula561 I know, Hope you feel better, I had Mine two years ago, When i was 11 or 12.

  • 2:29 Its all wet and icky YAY!

  • Hehe that squishy little thing got removed :D

  • Wait I had appendicitis and my appendix ruptured and I didn't die.

  • @ThePredator1256 mines was ruptured so badly. the surgeon said it was the worst he has seen in his medical experience. i was in the hospital bed for more than a month and still im surviving. btw mines took place in Canada.

  • i had my appendix out but not laparoscopicly, and it didnt hurt that much after at all. It just leaves a bigger scare, but its not that much bigger.

  • I had my gallbladder removed and I elected to have my appendix removed too. It has been a week and my appendix area hurts so much that I even cant move. How long are we supposed to be in pain after laparoscopic appendectomy?

  • OMG, I just had this done and I think the video makes it hurt more.

  • @CaptainRed2011 same here ehhh

  • Im getting this done soon does it hurt after?/

  • @msmonkeybutt011 YES! But it can be dealt with, Pain meds are awsome ya know..

  • @msmonkeybutt011 it does but you'll be SLeeping for about 4 hours after the Surgery is done,PLus during this 4 hours you'll keep puking,it sucks balls, but good luck, also it's impossible to pee or take a dump after xD I did it,other than that,it's BADASS cuz you'll be like a man who survived torture during war. hehehehe xD

  • 4;26 look way cutter thing leaves the skin yock

  • i might have to have this done cause the appendix ruptured and i had surgery but they couldnt find the appendix we dont know if it shrivvled up and withered away cause thats a possiblity

  • I had an appendix burst...in the beginning it felt like something I ate didn't agree with me. I kinda felt a little queezy. I finally went in 6-7 days later and they removed it. My appendix was in my pelvis of all places. I almost went septic and stayed in the hospital for about 8 days afterwards.

  • Most pain I was ever in!

  • Just had mine out cant explain the relief, i have NEVER felt pain like it i cried and screamed all night 1 mounth later all good no pain atall however i did shit myself when i got a letter from the hospital but they were just letting me know they were examining it at found it was ruptured lol good times, it was a nightmare though the mounth of recovery the stitches bedding in was saugh and being stuck in bed off work for two weeks was BORING

  • im going to vomit. my big sister might need this D:

  • my best bud got appendicitis when she was 6. i was with her all i remember is that she sounded like a bomb about to explode she was in so much pain she was done with her surgery just before it burst

  • my best bud got appendicitis when she was 6. i was with her all i remember is that she sounded like a bomb about to exploe she was in so much pain

  • I had this done 2 days ago. hurt like hell afterwards. nothing a little morphine and vicodin cant handle though

  • @sxatqepl The pain afterwoads is nothing compared to the pain I felt before the surgery

  • @steelbeltsdrumming yeah they got mine before it was very close to bursting so it wasnt so bad

  • I too got the laparoscopic appendectomy and I was sore for a couple of days and i was totally fine. It was on the verge of bursting and i'm glad today's technology is so advanced. It saved me and it was so simple.

  • omg! this happened 2 me as well.. i was studying for midterms and i got pain... the only difference is that i never got 2 write my exams :/

  • i was 10 years old when i had mine removed. i was crying for 2 days before they get me to a hospital. i thought i was gonna die that day

  • @SniperSwagga87 Nothing can describe this pain. I am 32 years old and woke up right after midnight 3 days ago with the worst abdominal pain in my life. The more i moved, the more it hurt. I was curled up in a fetal position on a hospital bed groaning and yelling until the painkillers kicked in. by 4AM i was in surgery, by 830 AM I was awake and feeling immediately better. The soreness after surgery is like a tap on the shoulder compared to how bad it hurts before they remove it.

  • Wow... that was excesively quick...

Looks like he did a good job :D

  • T~T

This Looks Painful! I Have To Get Mine Remove Soon...And I Looked Up The Surgery On Curiosity. Are You Sure You Don't Feel ANYTHING?

  • Bacon :D

  • I just had this done this morning. The pain is quite intense but they discharged me about 2 hours ago.

  • its realy not that bad. I had this done a year ago and i was on my feet within 4 days.

  • omg! i had my appendix removed aswell. did you had pain before though? i had pain, & it was HORRBLE. i couldn't walk. & it was soo painful. D: haha glad thats over thoughh. <3

  • had appendicitis for 5days. last 2days it ruptured &was oozing out for 2 days. my symptoms were strange,I thought i was pregnant.I had pains in my upper sides of my abdomen. then moved to one side which felt like my ovary. 5th night my back, abdomen was in excruciating pain. That morning Iwent to the ER,had ultrasound, concluded my appendix was16mm swollen. After that i was waiting for my surgery for6hr alone. Was under 60min.30min longer then expected. wokeup screaming w/ pain that is unimaginable!

  • ı had this operation too it didnt hurt though. btw what is that liquid ? the yellow on e

  • @IbanezGio122 i was asking myself the same question...i thought initially it was from the ruptured appendix, but apparently his didn't rupture. have no idea...

  • Why Does Something Like Smoke Starts Coming Out At 3:05 ???

  • I just recently had the procedure and compared to some of the scars ive seen on others I'm glad mine was done laproscopicly

  • How do you get this? I need answers.

  • Hey i got mine removed when i was 7 , im now 14 , 15 in january .. and my scar is still there :/ im very insecure when it comes to wearing a bathing suit . . my mom says the scar will disappear within time , is this true ?

  • @musicalgirl121 It will become a somewhat white line, just like any other scar, such as when you fall really badly. they fade away but usually, there's a hint of them. However, it's nothing to be ashamed of. Being a med student, whenever I see a scar, it simply sparks my interest instantly. So wear your bathing suits!

  • @blackama Oh okay , will do ! thanks so much ! :)

  • i got the a week ago

  • I had mine takin out also. The thing with mine was i woke up in terrible pain and had to get it removed it was bout to burst and it could kill you! It was hurting on my right side. Thats where your appendix is, But they made the cut on my belly button, And right above the pubic line and on the left side of my body! Why is that they make the cut on the opposite side?

  • @jessieg1231000 probably so they can maneuver the tubes (they probably have a certain length and it's easier to maneuver through the either side). i'm not sure, though.

  • i just got home from my surgery today and it looks like im pregnant. im a dude by the way and i weigh 146 pounds. and i cant shit either. the thing is.....i dont even EAT hardly ever. when will this "prego" look go away?

  • @classypassion666 Lol its aweful to have your appendix takin out! I hated it! But its good to get it over with i hated the pain of mine!

  • @jessieg1231000 yeah its def a good thing to get it out. but the shit part is...ive been back to the hospital like 2 more times since then so they could run tests. my pain still hasnt gone away and they "cant explain why" the pain NOW is worse than it was BEFORE the damn surgery

  • @classypassion666 OMG i hope you feel better! Thats aweful!

  • @jessieg1231000 tell me about it..doctors are dipshits sometimes. all they do is give me pain pills and tell me to "come back if it still hurts in a couple days" all they do is try and take my damn money by makin me come in so many times.

  • @classypassion666 This is the truth :)

  • OUCH!

  • did they let u take ur midterm?

  • cool video! just had this done a week ago & I feel fine =)

  • Three years ago I walked around for ten days with a pain on my right side. I was taking nine asprin a day, I was unemployed, no insurance til finally I walked into a local emergency room. After eight hours getting tested, x-rayed, ct's and late that night I had the operation. The next day the surgeon said I was lucky to be alive cause it had burst but contained itself. The nurse would come in asking if I was the one that walked around with appendicities for ten days. They said I was lucky.

  • This is really interesting...

  • I think it's hilarious how the surgeon sort of wiggled the already cut appendix in the middle of the video, so as to say, "hurray, I got that sucker!!"

I just had my appendix removed last week, by the way. I wish I had known I could have my own surgery recorded and handed to me. Fuck!!

  • Hello. Thanks for sharing this. Actually, I also had this surgery done three days ago. I have three small scars on the belly button and two on the tummy. When will the scars be gone? Thanks.

  • @mpldz

Please explain the amount of pain you had. I am having this this operation in a few weeks.

Thx Hope all is going well for you.

  • @pat1297 The surgeons placed me to sleep so I didn't feel anything. When I woke up, I was feeling a little numb and the part where my appendix was was still hurting a lil bit. Now, I am feeling almost brand new. :) Don't worry, it will be alright.

  • @pat1297 After the surgery I didn't feel anything really because the medicine and when that wore off I felt really no pain, you have nothing to worry about.

  • @MrGreatAndrew Thx So much ;-)

  • Thanks for this, I had mine out 2 years and always wanted to know how the surgery went. I had complications with mine and had a drainage tube and everything coz it was so inflammed xD guess I should have gone earlier.

Apparently they found mine on the left side of my body instead of the right, I couldn't stop laughing when they told me that.

  • I have no idea what is going on. :/

  • You wouldn't have died immediately if your appendix had ruptured! Mine ruptured 2 days before I was diagnosed & it was taken out - it just makes your whole body infected and so long as you get medical care you will be fine.

  • cool now i know what happens when this shit fuks up mah somach.

  • Im so jelous you actually got a video of your appendix being removed! O:

I asked my doctor but apparently he could get sued? o.O ... idk

  • @YourHardcoreOtaku I was actually surprised he let me take it too! But I think he was a skilled enough surgeon to know he wasn't going to be making a mistake. I'm glad he said it was cool.

  • @edafade what did it feel like and wat was ur reaction when u found u had it?

  • Comment removed

  • i have got to have this done, does it hurt, does the after pain hrt im scred

  • @theneversaynever23 Don't be scared. As terrible and as crazy as the surgery looks, it's not too bad. Medical technology today is so advanced, they don't even open you up anymore. They just make 3 little incisions and go in. I barely see the scars anymore either.

  • @edafade You're a lucky one then... I got my appendix removed back when I was 4... I still have the scar. I don;t remember if it hurt or not seeing as it was 15 years ago... But i got one ugly scar.

  • @TheOnix123 I have an ugly scar, Well 3 actually! One at my belly button, One over my pubic line and one on my left side, Thats weird though seing as how ur appenddix is on the right side idk why they made the cuts on the left htough!

  • @jessieg1231000 Nobody said anything about which side my scar was LoL, anyways, it's on the right side of my lower abdomen um...

  • @TheOnix123 I was referring to which side my scar was on! And i meant to say idk why they put the cut on the opposite side of where the organ was! :)

  • @edafade Hey I just had this done like a week ago. Did you have any stabbing pains afterwards every now and again? I don't think its serious but its seriously uncomfortable at times.

To the previous comment. I didn't hurt at all after operation but I suppose all the painkillers they feed you have something to do with that even tho I didn't even take them last day I was in the hospital.

  • @bartasbxx Yeah, big time. I couldn't even cough/sneeze. If I did, I would have excrutiating pain.

  • @edafade yeah i had the same surgery then i laughed it hurt for like an hour...

  • @bartasbxx I had mine taken out last week as well, i think the stabbing pains were trapped wind, which happens after surgery in that area, thats what i got told anyway.

  • @AngryOrso Must have been. i had no appetite either tho. but then as it happens i came back home from college friday and welt super good :D all good now :)

  • @edafade I had surgery about a week ago and i think mine was done differently to yours as they made one 2 inch (hit or miss) insision. Although i think my appendix were in a very bad condition and could of burst any moment, apprenlty they were extremely inflamed and pussy lol. Also, did you have glue to hold yours together or stitches? Because when i woke up it felt as if a plaster was on where they made the cut but turned out to be clue.

  • @edafade your lucky mate my 18 yr old son's ruptured 2 weeks ago after being sent home with anti-sickness pills. he now hasa 2 inch scar and missed freshers week. happily he's now at JMU Liverpool getting ready for a night on the town! Thanks for the video it's amazing!

  • @edafade how long do the scars take to heal as i had mine out and it looks horrible

  • @theneversaynever23 IT HURT ME SO BAD DID IT HURT YOU? its a week and i still feel the pain so bad

  • what in the fuck....?

i am doing this tommarow maybe... and... DAMN looks painfull i know your asleep but never had an operation before...

  • thank you for this video i had my appendix out on the 5th august 2011 and i was really curious as how they done it. for anyone who has appendicitis and is worried dont be. its perfectly fine they put u to sleep then just take it out then make you up and you feel really weird and it hurts but its better to no its gone now :) thank you @edafade

  • What exactly is appendicitis?

  • @xXxMoonLightStarxXx basically your appendix is a useless organ(for everyone) and appendicitis essentially turns it into a bomb in your stomach

  • @mastertheory oooh Ok thank you! i was really wondering.

  • My boyfriend just had this done about two weeks ago.....

    Dude. that's pretty sweeet.

  • My boyfriend is about to get this done. :/

  • It hurt too pee after words :p but i felt like nothing happened after surgery

  • how are you still alive

  • i just finish my surgery yesterday

  • did they give you your appendix in a jar????

  • please help me.. the doctors did blood work on me and said i was fine. but i wake up at night crying. it hurts a lot. but the pain comes and goes.... i can barely eat im not as hungry as i usually am... i have problems going to the bathroom.. i feel like im going to puke but i havent.. my mom gives my ibprofin tht helps for like 30 min.. and as im typing right now it HURTS! pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help me

  • I thought it was bad when they used to cut you open and do it by hand but this just creeps the fuck out of me

  • what was that spray from 4:51?

  • @XMrChicagoX cautery (burning)

  • @XMrChicagoX Im not a surgeon or anything, but Im pretty sure that's smoke.

  • i just got this done yesterday ;p

  • Ah! All that yellow stuff squirting out made me gag

  • Ah!

  • my mum had this done on thursday

  • hehe squishy

  • Just got this done last night....i feel like i did too many sit-uos now

  • I had my surgery Monday. This does not look very gentle lol

  • i just studied yesterday on how to do that

  • when i had mine taken out... they just cut into my belly... like they said screw it lets hurry up and get this over with lol... but i was out of the hospital like 24 hours later...

  • the term beautiful on the inside dosen't come real in this

  • whats that white?

  • is this for real?? i guess THATS why i was sore for a month afterwards. geez!

  • i just got mine removed still sore but its fine nothing to be scared about

  • @daleorielly dnt be scared of an ultra sound... im 12 and i also have an appendix..will have an operation nxt mnth... nothin happens in an ultra sound it doesnt hurt :D

  • i have possible appendicitis but im to affraid to get my blood tests done so im having a ultra sound on tuesday the 7th of june im very scared

  • does this surgery hurt i might have to have it done

  • eesh, im so nervous, im getting this done today and its my first surgery

  • @TheAlexrice Let us know how it goes. I'm sure you did just fine.

  • @edafade well fuck, lol excuse my french, i didnt have to get surgery. I had to have an enema done because the whole walls of my my intestines were covered in waste, but lemme tell ya, that enama works, thank goodness we have all this knowledge and technology like catscans and highley train'd doctors.

  • @TheAlexrice Wow. I had mine done last Saturday the 21st of May 2011.

It was my first surgery ever, and I'm only 15. I am still healing from it, and it was scary.

  • @TheAlexrice Why the fuck would you look it up ?

  • Had terrible pain, went to hospital, appendicitis diagnosed. Had a 2 hour and a half surgery, doctors warned me my appendix had blown and moved up in my belly, releasing pus and infecting my intestine walls, which almost ended up infecting my liver. Result: 6 days in hospital. Went home, 2 days had gone and had an infection, went to hospital at 1:30 AM, minor surgery procedure done. Medic took off stitches and squeezed the pus out, no anesthetics. No exercise for three and a half months.

  • i was operated by appendicitis 2 weeks ago :)

  • @edafade Awesome stuff! Thanks so much for sharing!

  • OMG!!...I just had this surgery two days ago...and I was curious how was done...now I can tell why it hurst so much after the surgery!!...awesome video..thanks for posting.

  • My dad had this done yesterday and I got curious as to how this was done. This is pretty cool! But I have one question. How did you manage to acquire this video?

  • @elr456 I asked my surgeon before he operated if he could make a video and give it to me. He agreed as long as I had a Pocket USB with me!

  • @edafade I had my surgery 2 days ago, but they didn't wanna give me a copy :p

Thanks for putting this video out, now I know what it could've looked like inside me.

  • @BigBadJohn88 No worries! I'm glad my surgeon said it was cool. I really wanted to see how this was done and now I can share it with everyone.

  • the worst part was when i had a cat scan because im allergic to the dye which they have to inject you with, so i had to take the one that you can drink it. the one that you drink is made from completely different things so it was safe for me. BUT IT TASTED DISGUSTING. i had to drink a liter of it. ugh ew... it was like fake peach iced tea with a really unexplainable taste in your throat.

  • @breathelove26music I know it tasted like pure crap...im 10 years old and i had my 3 hours appendex removed,it wasnt fun :(

  • dude i used all the morphine lol. i had it done two weeks ago!!! and then had to go back cause i got a blood infection it sucks. then after i woke up i was chokin and my throte hurt and the nurse ignored me. then the doc came in and told me it had gangreen on it. and my vein where the iv was is hard as a rock. WORST thing iv ever gone threw!! i still have pains and cough up stuff.

  • is all that yellow stuff fat?

  • I got my appendix removed before, and it wasn't very pleasant because I woke up at 4 am in the morning went to the ER, and stayed on the hospital bed til around 9am, so basically no sleep. they put me then in anesthesia and they told me i've been asleep for like 10 hours after the surgery... i remember waking up after surgery, so much mucus has been stuck in my throat all day, i couldn't inhale, and i vomited bloody mucus.. (at least a nurse was quick enough to get a bowl). then slept again.

  • i needed that surgory but my appendix ruptured... doesnt that make it worse when it ruptures

  • i had it done and it was awesome! nurses are so nice when your in pain.

  • I was just release from the hospital from getting mine done last night. mine had burst and i had the pain for about 2 days before i went in. there was also gangrene on mine. i checked in at 5:30 pm and was in the OR at 8. got some cool pictures though

  • I had this done! I wish my doctor made a video, this is awesome!

  • I had an emergency appendectomy. Mine was laparoscopic, too. Mine was so enflamed they admitted me at 7:30 AM I had been in the ER for stomach pains since 8:30 PM the previous day. And I had surgery 11:15 AM the same day. I just remember going into surgery ANGRY. They said its cause the meds they gave me. Iunno, lol. Point is that was a few days ago, I'm 14. I'm fine. ;3 You'll be fine too. Don't worry!!

But, damnnn, this is GROSS. O_O

  • i just had this surgery done not even 4 hours ago and iam doing ok but looking at this shit is nasty as hell if i knew my doctor did that shit he be dead Lmao serious but yall be ok dont worry i had fine doctor when i woke up lol i thought i was in heaven

  • i THINK this is what's gonna happen to my girl in a few days or tomorrow idk but im fucking worried like a bitch...you sure nothing bad will happen after this? i read your comments on other people's comments but im still not sure...

  • @lBloodlRaynel This is a really common surgery I think your girl will be just fine. For all intents and purposes this has less chances of complications then a normal c section in women

  • I have my appendix removed 2 days ago.

  • emergency surgery... i was pretty upset to why they cudnt do the scan in the first place.... i was really close to death.... after the operation was done i was in hospital for 13 days 10 of those days i was in serious pain and i had to be on morphine, but after thhose 10 days i finally felt better and the pain was less intense. im finally home after thirteen days and my stiches are coming out tommoro (: .. damm i was so close to death .. thank god im alive .. and the doctors were brilliant (Y)

  • @MrIfeellikedieing

wow, doesn't sound like your doctor WAS brilliant, if he assumed it wasn't appendicitis because it was on the left side. That's pretty common medical knowledge.

  • @Antagonist2012 the appendix is on the right but can start off on the left this is known as grumbeling appendix and will spread to the right which could take days/weeks/months even years !! :)

  • hey the exact same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago , i also got really immense pains in my abdomen i went to hospital , the doctor was confused as to why the pain was on the left side rather than the right... so he didnt think it was my appendix and sent me home he put me on painkillers i felt ok wen i went home for 6 hours or so but after that the pain came again but twice as worse at this point i was panicking and went to hospital again.. this time they done a scan and found out i needed eme

  • I am about to have this done. I had a tonsillectomy done last year when I was 15! IT HURT SO BAD! IT hurts worse when your past 12. but my doctor said it wont hurt anywhere near that.

  • i just had this done 2 days ago worst paain!

  • @10mcguire1, Yeah, same here.

  • @VJ87G i think the pain from the gas they inflate u with is worse than the cuts themselves!

  • @10mcguire1 I have a low pain tolerance, I was on Morphine every time possible.. It didn't hurt that bad thinking about it. It hurt worse before I had it done. And mine was an emergency surgery. Another couple of days it would've exploded. I had mine done about 3 days ago. The most horrible thing is them taking out the drain I was screaming.. O_O

  • @JinxedFool yea it sux. i say just take it out wen ur a baby so u dont have to go through it!

  • Had this operation two days ago and it's not bad at all. Had to be rushed to hospital as they told me it could burst at any minute. A few aches and pains afterwards but nothing to write home about. Constipation after this procedure can be a nightmare.

  • My brother is in surgery right now for this. Im scared for my life

  • @TaylorrSTFU I really wouldn't worry about it. Having been through it, I was only slightly nervous. Surgeons are trained to do this type of thing. Not to mention the procedure isn't that traumatic. Just be supportive prior to surgery and keep his mind of it. That's all you can really do. The rest is in your surgeons hands.

  • I NEED TO SAY UH OH BECAUSE THERE WAS A WHITE AND BLACKISH PART LIKE A INFECTION WHILE THEY WERE GETTING THE PART REMOVED.ITS SOMETHING CALLED............INFECTION SOMETHING LOL

  • lol i had this done last month wasn't happy waking up from surgery

  • just had mine removed 2 days ago. walking around is very difficult and sleep becomes hard but them good ol perks(oxycodone) i was perscribed make it ALOT easier to deal with.

  • @ruinedfaith09

felt the same way as him...

like every time I am awake like

    W>T>F!!! IT HURTS LIKE HELL

  • swollen appendice!!

  • wow, i almost cant recognize thats the appendix.. its so swollen...

  • Brutal. Had mine out yesterday.

  • i had mine done when i was 10 im 50 now and it still tender to touch after all these years

  • smh i just had mine removed 3 days ago. but b4 i had it removed the pain was unbearable, i just knew something wasnt right. i had pains in my abdomens and lower back. the night b4 i went to the er i jus put icy hot on my lower back and it went awayfor lil while, then i went to sleep nd it woke me up at around 12:30 and i tried so hard to go back to sleep but i couldnt; i mean i was trying to walk it off, lay in all kinds of positions but i just couldnt bear it anymore so i went to the er.

  • I had a larposcopic surgery 2months ago when i got my apenceonmy surgery. Right when you wake up it feels liek your belly button will explode. i was yelling at teh nurse to load me up with painkillers in my ivs, but in teh end jsut 28 hours in teh hopistal in the hospital with all teh ice cream i ever wanted

  • whats the tool they used to cut it at 4:50?

  • @ruinedfaith09 Hey I know how he must feel and you too. I had this surgery. It is really ok. I had pains too. I even had to stay for 4 months! I'm sure he is better now. My mom was exactly like you. She worried alot. But i'm sure he is fine now. sorry for the late response...

  • i had my surgery 16/9/2010.. it hurts pretty much but after the surgery you can't ever walk right it hurts so much!!

P.S: HOLLY FUCK THIS IS WHAT THEY DID TO ME????? I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE IT!!
